Marlena Supports Johnny And Chanel Before Delivering An Ultimatum To Xander
At the hospital, Marlena paused when she spotted Johnny and Chanel. While Chanel stepped away briefly, Johnny shared the devastating news about Chanel’s cancer diagnosis with his grandmother. Marlena immediately offered her support and promised to be there for them during the difficult road ahead.
Later, Marlena met with Xander for what quickly became a tense conversation. Still grieving John and frustrated by the lawsuit against Johnny, Marlena made her position clear. She told Xander that if he wanted to continue working with her as his therapist, he needed to drop the lawsuit and make things right with Johnny.
Xander argued that Marlena was trying to force his hand, but she refused to back down. She pointed out that he often speaks about wanting to make amends for his past mistakes and insisted this was his opportunity to do exactly that.
By the end of the conversation, Xander was left facing a difficult choice.
Chanel Refuses To Let Dr. George Dismiss Her Concerns
Chanel and Johnny soon met with Dr. George for a consultation about her treatment options. Unfortunately, the appointment quickly went off the rails.
From the moment he entered the room, Dr. George treated Chanel more like a case file than a patient. While he insisted her treatment plan was straightforward, Chanel had serious questions about chemotherapy, her pregnancy, and the impact treatment could have on her future.
As the discussion continued, Chanel confronted the doctor about the reality many Black women face when seeking medical care. She pointed out statistics showing higher mortality rates among Black women diagnosed with breast cancer and challenged him to take her concerns seriously.
Rather than addressing her questions, Dr. George dismissed her research and suggested she stop reading information online. The response only made Chanel more frustrated.
After the appointment, Chanel told Johnny, Marlena, and Sarah that she refused to trust her health to someone who treated her concerns so casually. Determined to advocate for herself, she announced that she would not be moving forward with treatment under Dr. George’s care.
Roman Apologizes To Kate As Joy Voices New Concerns
At the Brady Pub, Joy opened up to Kate about her ongoing worries regarding Kelsey and the challenges of co-parenting with Alex.
While Joy admitted she was still concerned about Stephanie’s feelings toward the baby, Kate tried to reassure her. Drawing from her own past experiences, Kate reminded Joy that complicated family situations don’t always stay complicated forever.
Later, Roman pulled Kate aside for a private conversation. Feeling guilty about their recent conflict, he apologized for doubting her and promised to stand by her moving forward.
The moment was especially ironic considering Kate’s role in helping push the accusations against Johnny, though Roman remained completely unaware of the truth.
Sarah Faces A Medical Emergency After Destiny Collapses
Earlier in the day, Sarah treated a young woman named Destiny, who arrived complaining of nausea, dizziness, and a severe headache. After examining her and reviewing her symptoms, Sarah suspected she was dealing with a stomach virus and encouraged her to rest and stay hydrated.
Destiny wasn’t satisfied with the answer and left feeling frustrated.
Later, after sharing a touching conversation with Marlena about the first anniversary of John’s death, Sarah encountered Destiny again in Horton Square. This time, the young woman looked significantly worse.
Before Sarah could do much to help, Destiny suddenly collapsed. Xander rushed over to assist as Sarah immediately began assessing her condition.
The situation quickly turned alarming when Sarah realized she couldn’t find a pulse, leaving Destiny’s fate uncertain as the episode came to a dramatic close.
Between Marlena’s shocking ultimatum, Chanel’s growing distrust of her doctor, and Destiny’s sudden collapse, Tuesday’s episode left several major storylines hanging in the balance.
