“The Young and the Restless” star Lucas Adams and his wife, Shelby Wulfert, are expecting their first child together.
In a joint Instagram post, the first-time parents announced the happy news alongside a beautiful maternity shoot.
“We could not be more excited about this news,” Wulfert wrote.
For the beach photo shoot, Adams opted for a beige crewneck sweater and jeans, while his wife matched it with a beige two-piece dress that showcased her baby bump.
One snap showed Adams kissing Wulfert’s baby bump, while another showed Wulfert holding a sonogram. Their little bundle of joy is due to arrive in February 2026.
Adams and Wulfert have decided to keep the gender of their baby a secret, per PEOPLE.

The happy news is met with warm well-wishes from friends and fans alike.
Adams’ on-screen lover on “The Young and the Restless,” Tamara Braun, wrote, “Everything beautiful and good right here.”
Another commented, “Yes! I’m ecstatic for you guys. Get ready for the ride of your lives. Nothing like it.”
Someone added, “So incredibly happy to see this. And this is going to be one BEAUTIFUL child!”
‘The Young & the Restless’ Star Lucas Adams’ Love Story
Adams and Wulfert first met in 2015 on the set of the Disney Channel series, “Liv and Maddie.” At the time, Adams portrayed Josh Willcox while Wulfert worked as a body double for actress Dove Cameron.
“She’s fantastic,” Adams told Soap Opera Digest in 2017. “She’s my best friend, so the fact that I’m able to have a relationship with her, and we’ll hang out and we’ll want to tell each other everything is just mind-blowing to me. It’s great.”
In July 2021, “The Young and the Restless” star proposed to Wulfert during a trip to Lake Tahoe. The stunning ring is a family heirloom that was passed down to Adams by his grandfather.
“My grandfather gave me a diamond of my grandmother’s,” the actor told the outlet. “She passed away when I was about 11 and I had asked him about a year-and-a-half ago if he had any rings left that he would be willing to let me use. He brought me one the next summer, so I had the ring for about a year before I asked her.”
Adams and Wulfert tied the knot in October 2022 in Waxahachie, Texas.
