In 2023, “Survivor” legend Cirie Fields made history as the first-ever winner of Peacock’s Emmy-winning reality conception series “The Traitors.” The victory was especially notable as Cirie played the game as one of the eponymous “Traitors,” tasked with betraying, manipulating and “murdering” the rival “Faithfuls” without being detected.
Until last week, Fields remained the only Traitor to do so in the U.S., with the Faithfuls winning both Season 2 (CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella) and Season 3 (Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey and Lord Ivar Mountbatten).
All that changed, however, when Day-1 Traitor Rob Rausch was declared the winner of “The Traitors” Season 4 after defeating his former “Love Island” co-star Maura Higgins in the finale on Thursday (Feb. 26).
Now, after emerging from Alan Cumming’s Scottish castle as a bonified reality TV villain, Rausch revealed that, if he ever does compete again, he hopes it’s on “Survivor.”
Rob Rausch Wants a Reality TV Break After ‘Traitors’ Win
PeacockRob, a 27-year-old snake wrangler from Florence, Alabama, originally appeared on the cast of “Love Island” Season 5 in 2023. He returned to the franchise the following year for Season 6 before landing a spot on the latest installment of “The Traitors.”
Despite steamrolling the competition — including former “Survivor” alumni Rob Cesternino, Yam Yam Arocho and Natalie Anderson — and claiming the $220,800 prize pot, Rausch isn’t quite ready to get back on his reality TV horse just yet.
“I wouldn’t count it out,” he revealed during a post-victory stop at “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” adding, “But it’s not really something I’m dying to get back into, to be completely honest with you.”
Rob Rausch on Whether He’d Play ‘Survivor’ – ‘Maybe One Day’
PeacockRegardless, Fallon, a certified member of the “Survivor” fan club and set to play a potentially game-changing role in the show’s currently-airing 50th season, needled Rausch about a potential run on the series.
“What if Jeff Probst calls,” Fallon asked, to which Rob responded, “You know, I do like‘Survivor.’ So, maybe. One day.”
That being said, Rob’s “one day” might be coming sooner than we realize.
“‘Survivor’ follows [Rob],” wrote one fan on Instagram after his “Tonight Show” appearance, adding, “They tend to only follow players. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on [Season] 51 or 52.”

More ‘Traitors’ Stars Want to Make the Jump to CBS
Speculation aside, the reveal adds Rausch to an expanding list of “Traitors” stars who’ve expressed their interest in joining the longrunning CBS franchise.
GettyThe list similarly includes Season 1’s Rachel Reilly, who previously appeared on “Big Brother,” “The Amazing Race” and “Snake in the Grass,” as well as Season 3 winner Dylan Efron, who recently competed on “Dancing with the Stars” before launching his own YouTube based completion series “Everything’s a Competition” with “Survivor” legend “Boston Rob” Mariano.
“Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” will return to CBS screens nationwide on Wednesday, March 11, with a brand new episode starting at 8:00pm ET.
