It’s that time again: “The Voice” is back for Season 28, with episodes premiering on Monday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. This season, there are four seasoned coaches: Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé, but who will win the show?
Who Will Win Season 28?
All of the coaches are incredibly talented musicians in their own right and great coaches, but some have better stats than others. Snoop is yet to win a victory, but you cannot count him out this season. Snoop joined the show in Season 26 and is back for Season 28. McEntire joined in Season 24 and won Season 25, and Bublé won Seasons 26 and 27. He joined in Season 26, so he is the current reigning champion.
Horan won Seasons 23 and 24, the only two seasons that he coached so far. He is back for Season 28 after a three-season hiatus. But can he win it a third time? The odds are in Horan and Bublé’s favor.
Fans have also weighed in on which coach they think will walk away victorious.
On a photo of all four coaches posted on the official “The Voice” Instagram account and pinned, fans flooded the comments to share their thoughts about the coaches. The coaches all commented writing, “TeamNiall,” “TeamSnoop,” TeamReba,” and “TeamBuble,” and the coach who got the most likes, by far, was Horan.
In another photo posted on Instagram on September 23, the comments are flooded with support for Horan. “TEAM NIALL LETS GO!!!” a comment reads. “We are SO back!!!! #TEAMNIALL” another person shared.
“Team Niall is gonna win this season,” a third person shared.
Everything To Know About ‘The Voice’ Season 28
The format will be: six episodes of Blind Auditions, four episodes of Battles, five episodes of Knockouts, two episodes of Playoffs, and then the competition will move to Live Shows, NBC reports. For those not able to watch the episodes on Mondays, they can be streamed the next day on Peacock.
There will be some significant changes this season, which may make for interesting viewing. Two standout features are the Carson Callback Card and the Mic Drop button. The Carson Callback Card is given to host Carson Daly, who will be able to provide a singing hopeful another chance at an audition if no judges turn their chairs in the blinds.
The Mic Drop button can be used by each coach on a contestant from their team who impresses them. The audience can then vote for one of four Mic Drop recipients. “The contestant with the most votes will be awarded a performance at The Rose Parade Presented by Honda,” People reports. The award will be given on January 1, 2026.
