‘The Voice’ Season 29 Schedule: When Do the Knockouts Start?

We are moving along quickly on “The Voice” season 29, as these winning coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend — have been building their teams through the Blind Auditions and Battle Rounds on “The Voice” 2026. It’s time to move on to the next round of the competition, but when do the Knockouts start on “The Voice” season 29? Check out the details below in our “The Voice” spoilers.

The Battle Rounds Schedule

With only three coaches this season, things have been moving at a different pace than in previous seasons. We only have to fill up three teams, so not as many artists to work through for each round.

For the Voice Battles, we kicked off Night 1 for season 29 on March 16. Then Night 2 took place this week on March 23.

While it seems like we should have another night or two mixed in there, that’s not the case. All of the artists have performed, and each coach now has a team of six ready to take on the Voice Knockouts.

When Do ‘The Voice’ Season 29 Knockouts Start?

The coaches and artists are ready to move on to the Voice Knockouts. This next round of the competition will kick off on Monday, March 30, at 9/8c on NBC.

For this third round of the competition, the coaches will pair up their artists. This time, though, the artists will get to pick their own songs to perform. They will sing back-to-back, and the coach needs to pick a winner.

There are no steals in this round, so the pressure is on. The coaches will choose one to stay in the competition and represent them in the Playoffs. The other artist will be eliminated.

Each team will have three artists for the Voice Playoffs.

For the Knockouts, we will see the return of CeeLo Green, who will serve as Mega Mentor for Team Adam and Team Legend. For Team Kelly, two-time winner Michael Buble will serve as her Mega Mentor.

In-Season All-Star Competition

In addition to the artists battling it out during the Voice Knockouts, we will see a new competition take place: the “In-Season All-Star Competition.”

For this new round, the coaches will each bring back two fan-favorite artists from their teams in previous seasons to compete. These artists will represent their former coaches in head-to-head sing-offs:

  • Jake Hoot – Team Kelly
  • Girl Named Tom – Team Kelly
  • Maelyn Jarmon – Team Legend
  • Renzo – Team Legend
  • Javier Colon – Team Adam
  • Jordan Smith – Team Adam

The coach with the most sing-off wins will be able to bring a second finalist to the Voice Finale. Right now, each coach will bring one artist, but then one coach will get to bring two, which is a HUGE advantage.

For this special round, CeeLo Green will be the judge for the competition and determine the winner of each matchup.

“The Voice” season 29 airs on Monday nights at 9/8c on NBC. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
