The six finalists for “The Voice” season 28 finale are in place. They will take the stage tonight and sing for your votes on “The Voice” 2025. Aubrey Nicole is ready to take it all the way home for Team Reba this week on “The Voice” 2025. The 19-year-old singer from Littlestown, Pennsylvania, is hoping to give her coach, Reba McEntire, her second win as coach.
Here are five fast facts you need to know about Aubrey, who is hoping to be named the winner of “The Voice” season 28 this week.
1. One Chair Is All You Need on ‘The Voice’
Unlike some of the other finalists, Aubrey came into the blind auditions and only got one of the coaches to hit their button for her. It was all she needed, as she joined Team Reba and has now made it all the way to the Voice Finale with her coach’s support.
2. Nicole Attends Belmont University
While she has a passion for music, she is also using that passion while attending college.
Nicole is currently a junior at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She’s studying songwriting at Belmont.
After she made the Voice Finale, she joked on Instagram about how it kind of messed with her school schedule. She joked about having to swap finals week for the finals on “The Voice” season 28.
3. Special Bond With Her Coach
Besides making Reba cry during her blind audition, Aubrey has a special connection with her coach. She has long respected Reba, and even performed McEntire’s hit, “Fancy,” during her audition to attend Belmont.
Now, she was the only coach to hit their button for her on “The Voice.” During an interview with her college, Nicole said, “That was absolutely insane — a full circle, magical moment I’ll never forget. She looked stunning, with sparkling eyes tearing up — that was surreal.”
4. An Emotional Rollercoaster
Aubrey went on an emotional rollercoaster ride during the Battles. She took on Cori Kennedy for that battle, so a clear battle of the country singers.
Not knowing what to expect, she was upset when Cori got picked as the winner. However, then it all switched when Reba hit her button to save her, but also Snoop Dogg hit his button to steal her!
In the end, Aubrey chose to stay with Team Reba, and here she is in the finale.
5. Speaking of That Finale
Nicole talked with the York Dispatch before this week’s finale. She said she would be taking on two different songs for the Voice Finale: an uptempo song and a slow song.
“I always want to share something with a good message and something that represents me well…Of course, I am going to go out there and give it my all, but if I don’t win, I feel like I’ve already won. I feel so blessed.”
