Kelly Clarkson’s eponymous talk show is still running strong after the “Stronger” singer announced she’d be ending her time as a daytime host.
Although she’ll be intermittently stepping away as host in the show’s final season, NBC teased in a press release that a slew of stars will likely be filling in for Clarkson in her absence, People reported.
Multiple Stars to Guest Host ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ in Final Season
Despite not providing a list with names of the potential celebs to fill in for Clarkson, NBC made it evident that they plan to go out with a bang for the show’s last season!
To kick off the guest-hosting duties, Grammy Award winner Pink will be joining “The Kelly Clarkson Show” from March 2 through March 6 in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Pink was carefully chosen by the network as a guest host in an effort to “highlight the show’s dedication to celebrating women who inspire change, break barriers, and uplift one another,” per NBC’s press statement.
“Surprise performances and candid conversations with trailblazers in entertainment – alongside everyday people making a difference in their communities – will honor women’s achievements, resilience, and lasting impact across music, culture, and society,” the press release noted.

GettyAlthough Pink’s music career has landed her on stages across the world and drove her to achievements far beyond her reach, Entertainment Weekly reported on Pink’s statement about how hosting “The Kelly Clarkson Show” during such a special week in celebration of women was something she was really looking forward to doing.
“I’ve played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat!” Pink shared. “Let’s celebrate women, joy, resilience, and whatever comes else comes our way!”
Clarkson shared her thoughts on the “Raise Your Glass” singer filling in for her, explaining how disappointed she was that she wouldn’t be able to be there firsthand to share in the excitement, Entertainment Weekly reported.
“The only thing that bums me out about Pink hosting a week of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ is that I’m not going to be able to be there to watch her,” Clarkson said. “I have been a fan for so long and have always been inspired by her music and her person. I love her!”
