Which Coach On ‘The Voice’ Has Been The Most Successful?

Since it debuted April 26, 2011, “The Voice” has seen some of the music industry’s biggest names sit in those iconic red chairs, searching for the next success story.

From Blake Shelton’s 23 seasons down to single season stars like Kelsea Ballerini and Dan + Shay, a total of 24 coaches have lent their talent and expertise, mentoring hopefuls and trying to win.

But beyond success on the show, who among the coaches on “The Voice” has risen to the highest levels of fame and fortune? We have the breakdown.

The Top Earner May Surprise You

When it comes to the Voice coach with the highest net worth, it’s actually not even close.

That title goes to Shakira.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer is worth a whopping $300 million.

Shakira was a coach on seasons four and six of “The Voice.”

Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande Tie for Second

There’s a $50 million dollar gap between Shakira and the two Voice coaches who are tied for second-highest net worth.

Singer Ariana Grande, who sat in the red chair during Season 21, and Pharrell Williams, who served as a coach during seasons seven through ten, both have an estimated net worth of $250 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.

And while she was only on for one season, according to Cosmopolitan, “The Voice” gave a nice boost to the “Wicked” star’s bottom line. Her salary for the season? $25 million.

Meanwhile, Pharrell has found his fortune in diversification. The tireless talent is not just a performer, but a producer, writer and even clothing and furniture designer.

Usher Stands Alone in the #3 Spot

With a net worth of $180 million, Usher may not hold the title for richest Voice Coach, but he has another claim to fame on the show.

Usher, who was a coach for seasons four and six, still holds the record for having the most contestants stolen by other coaches during the Battle Rounds.

And maybe no surprise to fans, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were the ones doing the stealing.

The pair each stole three members of Team Usher in season six, but Usher had the last laugh. He stole Josh Kaufman from Team Adam, and coached him all the way to win the grand prize.

Spot #4 Is a 5-Way Tie

Of “The Voice’s” 24 coaches, five have a net worth of $160 million.

That includes Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, who sat in that red chair almost as long as his friend and rival Blake Shelton. Adam coached contestants in seasons one through 16, and then returned for season 27 and will return again for season 29.

Christina Aguilera was an OG coach as well, appearing on seasons 1-3, 5, 8 and 10, and becoming the first female coach to win the show in season 10 when Alisan Porter took the grand prize.

Miley Cyrus spent seasons 11 and 13 in the chair, and at the time was the youngest coach ever on the show.

Gwen Stefani, who was a coach for seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, 22, 24 and 26, not only won season 19, she also walked away with a husband when she married fellow coach Blake Shelton. And yep, her $160 million net worth tops Shelton’s.

Snoop Dogg joined “The Voice” in season 26 and has circled back for season 28.

Alicia Keys Edges Blake Shelton Out of the Top 5

With a net worth of $150 million, singer Alicia Keys edges Blake Shelton out of the top five.

Keys was a coach for seasons 11, 12 and 14.

Blake Shelton Comes In #6

Blake Shelton may not take the title for richest Voice Coach, but with a net worth at $130 million, he’s doing okay.

And he still lays claim to plenty of other bragging rights. Blake was a coach from the beginning, sitting in the chair every season number one to number 23. That makes him the longest-serving coach in “The Voice’s” history.

He’s also won more than any other coach. Nine of the “Stay Country or Die Tryin'” singer’s mentees have taken home the trophy — Jermaine Paul (Season 2), Cassadee Pope (Season 3), Danielle Bradbery (Season 4), Craig Wayne Boyd (Season 7), Sundance Head (Season 11), Chloe Kohanski (Season 13), Todd Tilghman (Season 18), Cam Anthony (Season 20), and Bryce Leatherwood (Season 22).

Here’s How the Rest Stack Up

According to Celebrity Net Worth:

John Legend (Seasons 16-22, 24-25, 27, 29) has a net worth of $100 million.

Reba McEntire (Season 24-26, 28) has a net worth of $95 million.

Nick Jonas (Seasons 18, 20) and Michael Bublé (Season 26-28) each have a net worth of $80 million.

Niall Horan (Season 23-24, 28 ) has a net worth of $60 million.

Kelly Clarkson (Seasons 14-21, 23, 29) has a net worth of $50 million.

Jennifer Hudson (Seasons 13, 15) has a net worth of $30 million.

Camila Cabelo (Season 22) and Chance the Rapper (Season 23, 25) each have a net worth of $25 million.

CeeLo Green (Seasons 1-3, 5) has a net worth of $10 million.

And Kelsea Ballerini (Season 27) has a net worth of $6 million.
