Breakups are hard, but when two people are on the same page, life gets easier. Actor Orlando Bloom and Former “American Idol” judge and pop Icon Katy Perry are proving there’s no bad blood after their split. The former couple, who recently ended their nine-year relationship, showed they remain on good terms when Perry shared Bloom’s new movie “The Cut” with fans.
Perry Shows Sweet Support For Bloom
On September 7, Perry shared the trailer on Instagram, captioning it, “proud of you @orlandobloom.” Bloom responded with a simple heart emoji, a gesture that showed appreciation for her support.
Bloom Breaks Silence on Their Split
The show of support came just days after Bloom addressed the breakup publicly. During a September 5 appearance on Today with Craig Melvin, the 48-year-old actor said he was in a good place.
“I’m great,” Bloom shared. “I’m so grateful. We’ve got a beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it.”
Bloom also made it clear that his bond with Perry remains strong. “We’re gonna be great,” he said. “It’s nothing but love.”

Perry-Bloom’s Commitment to Coparenting
Bloom and Perry share a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. While Perry, 40, has not directly addressed the split, the couple’s representative released a joint statement in July confirming the breakup.
“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” the rep shared.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
A History of Putting Family First

“We want to evolve,” Perry said at the time. “That’s what I think our relationship is for: to become better humans so we can raise this beautiful human being.”
Even after their romantic chapter closed, Bloom and Perry continue to show that mutual love, respect, and shared dedication to Daisy will always come first.
