“Below Deck” fan favorite Colin MacRae celebrated his third anniversary with his girlfriend, Brittany Amodeo, differently than in the past. MacRae’s recovering from snapping his Achilles tendon in half last weekend. The injury left him living life on crutches and in a wheelchair amid his long road to recovery.

Despite his injury, MacRae didn’t miss a beat, marking three years of dating Amodeo. The two are not only a couple but also colleagues working on MacRae’s rebuilt Catamaran as they sail around the world.
The “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” alum will be laid up for a while because of his injury. In an Instagram post, MacRae acknowledged his anniversary with Amodeo and gave her a shout-out for taking such good care of him.
Several photos made up the social media share, revealing MacRae is still living his best life even with a major injury. The couple had a spa day, a nice dinner, and a night out on the town, all with MacRae rocking a cast and crutches.
There was even a video of Amodeo wheeling MacRae around in a wheelchair. MacRae used his caption to gush over his lady love.
“Our 3 year anniversary went down a little differently this year, with me ending up in hospital. But @brittanyamodeo didn’t skip a beat and has been helping me through this with love and compassion. But that doesn’t come as a surprise. She’s been there for me since day one. Love you lots, here’s to many more exciting injury free adventures 🤣😘❤️,” he wrote.
Brittnay Amodeo Was Brought Into Colin MacRae’s ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Drama
MacRae spent most of his three seasons on “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” in a relationship.
However, during Season 4 of the hit Bravo show, MacRae was single and embarked on a romance with Daisy Kelliher. The two even left Parsifal III together, but the relationship had ended by the time of the reunion, and MacRae was dating Amodeo.
Tensions were high between Kelliher and MacRae during the virtual reunion, where Kelliher accused him of cheating on her with Amodeo. MacRae fiercely denied those claims and defended his relationship with his girlfriend.
Season 4 was the last time MacRae was on “Below Deck Sailing Yacht”, insisting his decision to leave the show was about living out his dream of sailing on a catamaran, not the drama with Kelliher.
Three years later, Amodeo and MacRae are not only still going strong, but they are also living their best life, even with MacRae being injured.
