Bethenny Frankel Defends Amanda Batula & West Wilson Amid Relationship Backlash

The former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast member shared her thoughts in a TikTok filmed during a dinner outing, calling it a “blind take.”

Bethenny Frankel Reacts to Amanda Batula & West Wilson Relationship

In the candid clip, Frankel referenced the widely publicized 2023 “Vanderpump Rules” cheating scandal involving Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss, saying: “A, was this on a reality show with producers and a network that stands to profit in the same way as Scandoval? OK, we move on.”

Frankel continued by challenging how relationships and friendships are portrayed on reality television, suggesting viewers may be misled about cast dynamics.

“B, did the people that were ‘friends’ meet on the show? Because if that’s the case, we have to shave several points off friendship, because the network wants you to think they were all friends, but they’re not really friends, and they won’t be friends after,” she said.

The former reality TV star also pointed to the nature of Bravo programming, which often features drama and complex relationship dynamics. “If these are all in fact true, and this couple that is now a couple, they’re grown ass consenting adults,” she stated.

Frankel ended her video on a lighter note, saying, “Whoever these two people are together now, go with God. I’ll be happy to sell them an appropriate wedding dress. You’re welcome.”

‘Summer House’ Stars Amanda Batula & West Wilson Confirm Relationship

Batula, 34, and Wilson, 31, confirmed their relationship Tuesday after weeks of speculation from fans and viewers of “Summer House.”

“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they said in a joint statement. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The pair added, “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”

Their relationship has drawn additional attention due to Wilson’s past romance with Ciara Miller, who is close friends with Batula. Wilson and Miller dated for several months in 2023.

Shortly after Batula and Wilson’s announcement, Miller, 30, was photographed in New York City appearing emotional while being comforted by a male companion.

According to a Page Six, Batula and Wilson are now in a “full blown relationship,” while some of their co-stars — including Miller and Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke — are reportedly “pissed” and “disappointed.”

  1. All staged for drama for television. Ciara would never sit on a sidewalk in New York unless cameras were following her around🥹🥹🥹🥹
