Bravo’s “The Valley” season 3 sees Brittany Cartwright getting her much-deserved sparkle back after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor and getting her “mommy makeover,” which also means removing 10-year-old breast implants Taylor once purchased.
The season also sees Cartwright dating again and becoming official with a longtime friend from back home named Brandon Hanson. Although they later ended things off-camera in October 2025, Cartwright recently revealed that she has a “crush” on someone who, coincidentally, has a crush on her. Could fans see Cartwright revealing her mystery man very soon?

GettyIn a new interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real, Brittany Cartwright admitted that a new “crush” is giving her major “butterflies.”
When asked whether she had been dating since she broke things off with Brandon Hanson in October, she revealed, “I’m single, but I definitely have a crush on somebody.”
However, Cartwright said fans won’t likely be able to guess his identity, hinting that he may not be a public figure when the hosts pressed her for more insight into her mystery crush.
“You would never guess in a million years,” she shared. Cartwright was also asked if she liked keeping it a secret, to which she replied, “For now. I’m an open book if it’s ever anything serious. Obviously, I don’t care if they pop on the show. Yeah, right now, I don’t have a relationship.”
The reality star further admitted to having “butterflies and all that fun stuff,” and even revealed that the mystery man “has a crush too.”
What Happened Between Cartwright & Brandon Hanson?
Cartwright’s last known public relationship was with a man named Brandon Hanson, whom she had known from back home in Kentucky years before she became a reality TV star on “Vanderpump Rules.”
“We’ve known each other for 15 years,” she said while speaking to TMZ in September 2025. “I met him back in Kentucky. Long time ago.”
In an interview with People, Cartwright’s former VPR co-star Kristen Doute confirmed their relationship just a month before. “She has someone in her life that’s really amazing that I am head over heels for,” she told People. “She’s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband [Jax Taylor], and I have not approved of them. They’ve been fine, but not wonderful. This person is very wonderful and very cool. Very family-feeling,” Doute added.
Hanson made his debut on “The Valley” season 3, and they made their relationship official during the April 15 episode, despite her hesitations about becoming exclusive.
During “The Valley After Show, she admitted that there were “a lot of red flags” that she missed, with the couple breaking up in October 2025. “I feel like the fact that I was in like a ‘mini’ relationship for a second is kind of cringy,” she shared.
Cartwright Shares How Finalizing Her Divorce Will ‘Open New Doors’
In February, while speaking on Lala Kent’s “Untraditionally Lala” podcast, Cartwright shared that once her divorce from Taylor was finalized, she was opening that door to find love again.
“Honestly, I think once my divorce is final, it’s going to open new doors for me in a weird way. A lot of stuff I do is in private,” she said, adding that she and Kent are on the same page regarding wanting to find someone special.
“We’re ready to date, and you know, we’re always showing each other the guys that we think are hot, and doing different stuff like that. And just like, trying to take our time, but also have fun, because we deserve that,” she added.
As of this writing, Cartwright and Taylor have not finalized their divorce, which was filed in August 2024.
