‘The Valley’ Star Brittany Cartwright Addresses Resolved Tax Issue

Brittany Cartwright is speaking out after resolving a reported tax issue that recently made headlines.

TMZ recently caught up with the “The Valley” star at the airport as she was flying back home to Kentucky for her nephew’s graduation. During the brief conversation, Cartwright addressed the situation directly while appearing relaxed and upbeat alongside her son Cruz.

“It’s fine. It’s fixed. It’s not an issue I’m going to have to worry about. It’s just annoying,” Cartwright told the outlet.

The update quickly sparked reactions from Bravo fans online, especially after earlier reports tied Cartwright to a reported tax issue involving more than $500,000.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported Cartwright faced what the outlet described as a more than $500,000 California tax debt claim tied to unpaid taxes. At the time, the outlet reported Cartwright disputed the claim and said she believed the issue stemmed from her former accountant.

Brittany Cartwright Said the Situation Initially Left Her ‘Freaking Out’

Although Cartwright said she resolved the issue, she admitted the situation felt overwhelming when she first learned about it.

“I was freaking out … I had no idea. I can’t catch a break,” she said.

Cartwright also explained that one of the most frustrating parts was seeing the situation become public.

“I was just annoyed it had to be public cause it wasn’t something I could control,” she added.

Despite the earlier stress surrounding the issue, Cartwright emphasized that she is now in a much better place.

“I’m doing great,” she said.

The TMZ clip quickly spread across social media, with many fans reacting to Cartwright’s honesty and calm demeanor while discussing the situation publicly.

Brittany Cartwright Remains One of Bravo’s Most Talked-About Personalities

Cartwright has remained a central figure on Bravo as “The Valley” continues building momentum with viewers.

The reality series follows several former “Vanderpump Rules” personalities as they navigate marriage, parenting, friendships, and major life transitions outside of their original West Hollywood nightlife days.

Much of the recent attention surrounding Cartwright has centered on her relationship with estranged husband Jax Taylor. Their split became one of the biggest storylines tied to the first two seasons of the show, with fans closely following their dynamic and emotional conversations throughout. Taylor was not part of Season 3 of “The Valley,” which is currently airing on Bravo.

Even amid personal challenges playing out publicly, Cartwright has continued making appearances and staying active professionally.

Earlier this year, she walked the runway during the Cupshe show at Miami Swim Week, appearing confident and upbeat during the event.

For reality television stars, financial headlines often generate intense public scrutiny, particularly when their personal lives are already under a microscope onscreen. But in Cartwright’s case, fans seemed especially interested in her candid reaction after she resolved the reported issue.

As “The Valley” continues growing its audience for Bravo, Cartwright remains one of the franchise’s most recognizable personalities — and judging by her latest comments, she appears ready to leave the stressful situation behind her.

New episodes of “The Valley” air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
