Lala Kent is back in the Bravo spotlight — and she’s already sharing a headline-making story involving Mauricio Umansky.
During the May 6 episode of her podcast, “Untraditionally Lala,” the “The Valley” cast member opened up about a direct message she once received from the longtime real estate broker and estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards.
The revelation immediately sparked conversation among Bravo fans, especially as Kyle and Mauricio’s separation continues to dominate discussion surrounding RHOBH following the season 14 reunion.
Lala Kent Says Mauricio Umansky Sent Her a DM
Kent explained that the interaction happened after she publicly discussed Mauricio on her podcast several years ago.
“I don’t even know if I should be sharing this. It happened so long ago,” Kent said on the episode. “I was talking about Kyle and Mau at this time, and this was like at the height of them not really knowing what they were doing.”
According to Kent, the conversation stemmed from comments she made about Mauricio while recording with Easton Burningham and assistant Jessica Walter.
“But I got a DM of him saying something along the lines of, you know, I talk about him on my podcast, and he would like to grab a coffee,” she shared.
Kent made it clear she never pursued the interaction.
“I just never opened it or responded. Like, there’s not a chance,” she said, adding that she assumed Mauricio may have wanted to discuss what she had said publicly about him.
Even though the DM happened years ago, Bravo fans quickly connected the story to the ongoing conversation surrounding Mauricio and Kyle’s evolving relationship.
