Bravo’s “Summer House” season 10 introduced viewers to several new Hamptons housemates, including KJ Dillard, a friend of West Wilson’s who worked as a professional skateboarder and model.
Dillard quickly resonated with fans thanks to his openness about his mental health journey, including his struggles with anxiety. Viewers were especially touched to see both Ciara Miller and Mia Calabrese step in as big sisters and big supporters for Dillard. Adding to his memorable season, Dillard left the summer with a girlfriend, finding romance with Dara Levitan.
However, in late May, it was speculated that Dillard and Levitan called it quits after unfollowing each other on Instagram. The next day, Dillard broke his silence with a few cryptic messages on Threads.

Getty“Summer House” fans still have not received confirmation news of a split between stars KJ Dillard and Dara Levitan after the two appeared to unfollow one another on Instagram on May 28. However, the following day, Dillard shared a Threads message that did seem to address how he was feeling.
According to Reality Tea, Dillard wrote “Good morning,” which was followed up by “love, joy, peace” and “cool, calm & collective.”
If Dillard and Levitan have broken up, the “Summer House” newbie seemed to hint he was doing okay. Fans were concerned for the star after he shared his struggles with his mental health throughout season 10.
According to the outlet, fans commented on his post with messages of support. “Hope you’re doing ok, KJ! A lot of people relate and are rooting for you. Deep breaths and just take one step at a time,” a comment read.
Fans first noticed there was trouble in paradise when the two no longer followed one another on Instagram on May 28, just a day after the two attended Ciara Miller’s collaboration with DSW in New York City.
GettyDillard had also scrubbed his profile clean of any photos with Levitan. Meanwhile, she still has photos with him on her social media. On her last post with Dillard, the two attended a wedding with Levitan, captioning the images, “Forever wedding date.”
Dillard Shares New Words About Heartbreak
GettyTaking to Instagram on June 1, Dillard shared a poem or song he wrote titled “Heartbreaks & Setbacks,” fueling more speculation about their breakup.
It began: “heartbreaks and setbacks/true love I’ve felt that/love is a rush/but I’m in no rush/feelings I feel/this time I’ll heal/I’m asking God/what is the big deal.”
He captioned the Instagram post, “God’s love never fails.”
The poem’s meaning hints at a feeling of disappointment that a relationship did not work out despite giving it their all and a determination to move forward.
Fans quickly flooded his post with love and support. “Hope you know how loved you are and how many people around the world appreciate you for being you❤️,” a fan wrote. “Hang in there KJ!!! Lean on Mia and Ciara!” Another shared.
According to TV Insider, “Summer House” season 11 was confirmed during the NBC Upfronts, but who’s in and who’s out is still not yet known.
