Former “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo’s new relationship with Joe D’Amelio is unlike her former romance with “Southern Charm’s” star Craig Conover, as she and D’Amelio have kept their romance out of the public eye for months now.
According to Us Weekly, DeSorbo and D’Amelio were first linked in January 2025, just one month after she confirmed on her “Giggly Squad” podcast that she and Conover split after three years of dating. It wasn’t until the summer, however, that the outlet confirmed they were officially dating.
While the couple continues to keep their relationship private, the former Bravo star recently offered a rare glimpse into where things stand, giving fans a subtle hint on how they’re doing today.
Paige DeSorbo Shares Details on Her ‘Very Fun’ Romance With Joe D’Amelio
GettyOn Feb. 26, Paige DeSorbo spoke to Us Weekly while attending the Actors Rising Presented by The Actor Awards and Elle, where she shared a rare update on her relationship with boyfriend Joe D’Amelio.
“Yes, we’re exclusive,” she confirmed with the outlet, noting that she is officially out of the dating scene. “I’m in my 30s, so it’s not like I’m out every single weekend going out on multiple dates like I would have been in my 20s.”
DeSorbo is set to serve as a pre-show host at The Actor Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards) when it airs live on Netflix on Sunday, March 1.
She also shared a very sweet update on her romance with D’Amelio, describing it as “very fun” and “very relaxing,” and even revealing one of the unexpected perks of dating an Italian.
“I feel like they get a reputation that they’re not quiet, but they’re quiet — and I appreciate that,” she said, adding, “Like, they know when to speak and when not to and I like that. That’s important. It’s important [for] a man to know when to shut it.”
DeSorbo Shares Why She Enjoys Keeping Her Romance With D’Amelio Private
GettyIn her same interview with Us Weekly, DeSorbo explained why her romance with D’Amelio differs from her past relationship with Craig Conover. She noted that, now that she’s no longer sharing every aspect of her life on television, she has more control over what she chooses to reveal.
“It was such a balancing act,” she said of her on-screen romance, which played out on both “Summer House” and “Southern Charm.” “I feel like when I was on reality TV — I started when I was 25 — it feels very, like, that was my 20s. Obviously, I’m in charge of my own decisions and stuff [now]. So it’s nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don’t [with] personal stuff,” she added.
DeSorbo decided to leave “Summer House” after season 9, the same season that documented her questioning her three-year relationship with Conover.
When Us Weekly confirmed their romance in July, a source shared, “It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy,” adding that the sports executive is “a breath of fresh air.”
“He’s calm, grounded and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed,” the source said.
