Carl Radke Reveals Where He Stands With Amanda Batula Amid ‘Summer House’ Reunion Drama

The fallout from the reveal of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship continues to ripple through the cast of “Summer House.”

During a couple of recent appearances, Carl Radke opened up about where he stands with Batula and Wilson following the season 10 reunion. While the Bravo OG said he still cares about Batula, he admitted their friendship is not currently in the same place it once was.

“We’ve texted after the reunion. She wished me luck in London, at the marathon. She wanted to try and catch up at some point … but I’m also just taking some time here,” Radke said during his May 12 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

Radke also revealed that his relationship with Wilson has effectively stalled.

“He texted me two different times right after the reunion. I appreciate the texts … but I — even things that I’ve learned over the last week, has just been like … the stuff keeps piling on and piling on. It’s messy,” Radke explained.

Carl Radke Questions Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s Future

When Andy Cohen asked whether he thought Batula and Wilson’s relationship would last, Radke did not hesitate with his answer.

“Absolutely not,” he said.

Radke also reflected on several moments from season 10 that he now views differently following the revelation of Batula and Wilson’s relationship.

One scene that stood out to him involved Batula and Mia Calabrese discussing Ciara Miller and the possibility of her reconnecting with Wilson.

“I know how much Calabrese really cares for Miller, and what Batula was saying — and then what we’re watching and dealing with now — it’s disappointing,” Radke said.

He also suggested Batula’s behavior toward Kyle Cooke seemed different long before their separation became public.

“I do care for Batula, but what I’ve seen and heard over the last year and a half — like, something kind of changed last spring … her energy around Cooke was like he didn’t even exist,” he added.

Radke also criticized some of the interactions between Batula and Wilson that played out on camera.

“It’s uncomfortable to watch,” he said.

He specifically referenced a scene in which Wilson moved closer to Batula during a difficult conversation involving Cooke.

“I will say, like some of Wilson’s hands on a woman who’s married, I’m not cool with,” Radke said. “Like, you don’t touch women in their midriff or their neck if they’re in a committed relationship like that. I don’t care how friendly you are. Some of the touching — watching back — is really uncomfortable, and not okay.”

The ‘Summer House’ OG Says the Cast Is Still Confused About Amanda and West’s Timeline

In an interview with TMZ, Radke said many members of the cast are still trying to understand the timeline of Batula and Wilson’s relationship.

“It was confusing in the moment. We’re all… processing it in real time,” he said. “I still think a lot of us are confused as to what’s going on, and that’s what made it hard to move forward because we just don’t really understand.”

Radke also noted that the entire reunion was filmed in a single day, making it difficult for cast members to fully process the information being revealed.

Looking ahead, he teased even more drama in the remaining reunion episodes.

“There’s a lot more that happens with the obvious, and then there’s other stuff that has bubbled up later on that people didn’t realize,” he said. “Also in a good way, Cooke and I come together, we had a big fight at the end of the summer. It’s going to get way more intense.”

While Radke acknowledged relationships can improve over time, he said the cast is still working through what they have learned.

“Right now, it feels like that’s really hard. I think there’s a lot of (expletive) that we’re learning, figuring out,” he said when asked if the group could eventually support Batula and Wilson as a couple.

Radke pointed to his current relationship with his ex-fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, as proof that friendships can heal.

“Hubbard and I have been friendly and have been in a good place, which has been really nice. I never thought we’d ever do that ever again, so it’s been nice to see that we can be friendly,” he said.

Amanda Batula Calls Out Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s Viral Ad

The Batula-Wilson drama also resurfaced during part two of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion when Batula addressed a viral social media video created by Radke and Hubbard.

The pair reunited in an Instagram advertisement posted in April that referenced the ongoing cast drama.

“I would have never done that to them during their break-up,” Batula said during the June 2 reunion episode. “And it did hurt a little bit.”

Hubbard defended the video, explaining that it came together quickly after Cooke participated in a lengthy street interview discussing the cast’s reaction to the news.

“So I was just like, ‘Hey, you know what, like let’s make this light. Let’s bring a light-hearted energy to a very seemingly dark situation,’” Hubbard said.

Cooke and Miller also weighed in on the ad during the reunion.

“I was like, ‘I don’t really give a (expletive),’ to be honest,” Miller said.

“I think without seeing it, you’re like, ‘Ehhh, kinda cringe.’ And then watching it, I thought it was epic, if I can be honest,” Cooke added.

The “Summer House” season 10 reunion concludes June 9 on Bravo.
