“Summer House” alum Danielle Olivera is entering a new chapter in her life: motherhood.
The fashion-tech founder revealed on Instagram on May 15 that she and boyfriend Eoin Heavey are expecting their first child together, capping a wild year in which the Brooklyn-based reality star moved in with her Irish tech-founder beau, exited her longtime Bravo gig and signed on to the Hamptons spinoff “In The City.” The two have yet to announce a due date.
Naturally, her ex-housemates chimed in with reactions to the news.
“Congrats!!,” Summer House co-star and real-life pal Lindsay Hubbard commented. “Best blessing in the world!
“Congratulations!!! Best parents already!! Can’t wait to be Uncle Stephen!!” Season 1 and 2 SH star Stephen McGee captioned. “Ahhhhhhhhh!” current “Summer House” star Ciara Miller wrote. “Congratulations.”
More on ‘Summer House’ Alum Danielle Olivera’s Pregnancy Announcement
As longtime “Summer House” viewers can attest, Olivera famously protested at Lindsay Hubbard’s October 2024 baby shower that she had zero interest in the infant stage of motherhood. “I don’t want to be with the child alone until they can wipe their own (expletive)” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time, declaring herself more the fun-aunt type. Life comes at you fast, as they say.
Olivera joined “Summer House” in Season 2 after a brief pre-show romance with castmate Carl Radke, and quickly became one of the franchise’s regulars. Across seven seasons in the Hamptons share house, she dated chef Robert Sieber, briefly rekindled things with Radke in Season 4, flirted her way through “Winter House” with Alex Propson and built Donne, the AI-powered personal-styling app she co-founded after leaving her FinTech career at Capital One.
By early 2025, Olivera had reconnected with Heavey, founder of hotel-software startup Maitre, whose New York social circle had brushed up against hers years earlier. The two moved in together within months, recently swapped her longtime Williamsburg apartment for a new place and joined “In The City,” the Bravo spinoff of SH. The pregnancy now promises to take center stage on her new show.
Olivera Can Lean on Good Pal Lindsay Hubbard for Mom Advice
Hubbard, as “Summer House” fans know, had her own road to motherhood unspooled on the show. Hubbard announced her pregnancy on July 4, 2024, less than a year after her engagement to Radke imploded on national television. She welcomed daughter Gemma Britt Kufe with then-boyfriend Turner Kufe in December of 2024. Hubbard and Kufe have since put their romantic relationship on ice and are co-parenting, with Hubbard now navigating life as a single mom on “In The City” — where her once-tight friendship with Olivera has visibly frayed.
When Hubbard was pregnant, Olivera said she cried upon hearing the news. Whether the two will swap notes on sleep regressions and nursery paint chips remains an open question — “In The City” is set to dig into the rift directly. Still, the symmetry and timing are hard to ignore: two women who built friendships and on-air personas in a share house, and both are now charting parallel paths into parenthood. It’ll be fascinating to see how it all plays out.
