A new star-studded lineup of celebrities will trade their glamorous life and lace up their combat boots as they compete in Fox’s reality TV series “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
Season 4 will feature a new batch of reality stars, athletes, and, this time, duos take on the challenge, including “Real Housewives” icon Teresa Giudice and her daughter, “Next Gen NYC” star Gia Giudice. However, in a newly released video, it appears that the RHONJ veteran’s motherly instincts kick in, not for Gia, but for someone else.
Teresa Giudice & Brittany Cartwright Bond on ‘Special Forces’
Fox’s hit competition series, “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” features several celebrities being shipped away to a foreign country where brutal military-style challenges not only push their bodies but also their minds to the breaking point.
Among the season 4 recruits, who will face challenges in Morocco, are “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” icon Teresa Giudice and “The Valley’s” Brittany Cartwright. In a newly shared video on Instagram, cameras capture the unlikely duo bonding, a moment that fans could hardly imagine happening in real life.
Dressed head-to-toe in army uniforms, Cartwright jokes, “We look sexy? Charlie’s Angels?” In another moment, fans see their bond grow even more as Giudice is seen gently scraping dirt off the former “Vanderpump Rules” star’s face. “It feels like a massage,” Cartwright shares as Giudice also fixes her hat.
Cartwright captioned her video, “Definitely not sexy and definitely the craziest thing I have ever done! LOL Season 4 of #SpecialForcesFox premieres in 3 days!! September 25th at 9pm on Fox!”
‘Special Forces’ Season 4 Features Duos for the First Time Ever
As mentioned, this season of the grueling Fox series ups the stakes by introducing family duos. It’s an emotional twist that will certainly test bonds.
Besides the Giudice women, the other duos competing include Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and her husband, former NFL player Andrew East; and country singer Jessie James Decker and her husband, former NFL athlete Eric Decker.
In a video clip shared by Gia on Instagram, she shares that being on the show with her famous mother was “an opportunity that we couldn’t pass up,” adding, “When am I ever going to say I did these insane things with my mom?”
The video shows the two bravely holding their breath as water rises above their heads, trading blows while boxing, and even leaping out of helicopters.
The other contestants to be featured this season include a mix of celebrities, reality TV stars, and athletes. They include “Sister Wives” star Kody Brown, “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, RHOA star Eva Marcille, model Chanel Iman, “Transformers” actor Ravi V. Patel, former NFL players Randall Cobb and Johnny Manziel, Olympic soccer player Christie Pearce Rampone, influencers Brianna LaPaglia and Mark Estes, and former NBA star Nick Young.
