The “Dancing with the Stars” family is doing a first-ever elite fan experience that has people buzzing. “DWTS Con” was announced during a segment on “Good Morning America” on February 10, and now some details about the ticket options have emerged.
Tickets for DWTS Con Go on Sale Soon
DWTS Con will take place in Palm Springs, California, from July 31 to August 2. The event will include many current and former “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers and contestants. There will be live dance performances and panels, photo experiences, and more.
Ticket sales to the general public begin on February 14 at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) at DWTSCon.com.
According to Variety, Tickets to cover admission for the full three-day event will cost $199. That includes live shows and panels with the special guests and dancers.
The general ticket purchase also gives attendees access to a kick-off party taking place on Friday, July 31, as well as costume displays and photo opportunities.
It does not appear that there will be single-day tickets available for purchase.
There are also presale opportunities available for “Dancing with the Stars” fans. According to Ticketmaster, Verizon Access presale tickets become available beginning on Thursday, February 12, at 10 a.m. PST. The Verizon Access presale window closes on Friday, February 13, at 10 p.m. PST.
In addition, there is a Mirrorball Member Presale opportunity. “Mirrorball Members” are “Dancing with the Stars” fans who have signed up to get early presale access via the DWTS Con website.
The Mirrorball Member presale opens on Thursday, February 12, at 12 p.m. PST. It ends on Friday, February 13, at 10 p.m. PST.
The Ticketmaster page for the DWTS Con tickets also lists timeframes for Ticketmaster, Venue, and LIVE NATION presales, along with a Verizon Access Select Seats option.
Several VIP Package Options Are Also Available for DWTS Con
DWTS Con will also have VIP packages available for purchase, although it does not appear that pricing for those has been released at this time. Those packages will include better seating for shows, VIP hospitality, and some meet-and-greets.
There are several different VIP packages available for purchase.
The Ballroom Floor VIP Table Package includes a solo Meet & Greet opportunity with “a selection of DWTS Con talent.” In addition, a “professional photo [will be] taken of you and your guest(s) at your table.” This professional photo does not include any “Dancing with the Stars” people.
A special toast during the Friday night welcome is included, as is a special entrance and Green Room available only to Ballroom Floor VIP holders. The package includes several other exclusive merchandise items and perks.
The Mirrorball Oasis VIP Upgrade does not include a ticket to DWTS Con itself, so that must be purchased separately. However, the package does include a solo Meet & Greet photo opportunity with some talent, the Friday night welcome toast, VIP Hospitality Lounge access, and a few additional perks.
There is also a Desert Glam VIP Upgrade. This offer also does not include the DWTS Con ticket itself.
It includes a Group Meet & Greet with DWTS Con stars, and there is a note that the photos are taken in groups of four. That seems to indicate that if you are a solo attendee or attending with just one or two others, you will be grouped with others for your Meet & Greet photo.
