We have seen their dance moves, but now we get to see them teach on “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” 2026, as the contestants will be tasked with teaching ballroom novices. If they make it as a pro on “DWTS” Season 35, then this is what they would be doing on a weekly basis. ABC has released some “DWTS: The Next Pro” 2026 spoilers, including the full song list, dance styles, and dance partners the contestants will face during Week 5 of “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” Season 1.

Week 6 on ‘Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro’ 2026

For Week 2, we will have pro dancer Witney Carson as the guest mentor and judge. This week’s episode is titled “But Can You Teach? Coaching Superfans with Witney Carson.”

The synopsis for this week’s episode: “Witney Carson joins to push dancers to face their toughest challenge yet, teaching ballroom novices. Paired with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ superfans, they have just two days to prepare a performance as they compete for a spot in the semifinals.”

Dance Details For Week 6 on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’

These dancers are competing to be named a pro dancer on the show. They will land a spot as one of the pro dancers for Season 35 this fall.

We are down to five dancers remaining. Now, the true test happens tonight: can these dancers teach people with no ballroom experience how to ballroom dance?

The Top 5 will be paired with “DWTS” superfans and need to teach them a ballroom routine in just two days. Here are the superfans each dancer will be paired with, the dance style they are assigned, and the song they’ll be performing to:

  • Adele – Partnered with Anthony Riccardo. They will be dancing a Tango to “Just Keep Watching” by Tate McRae.
  • AJ – Partnered with Bailey McKnight. They will be dancing a Viennese Waltz to “Die for Me” by ZAYN.
  • Allen – Partnered with Zaira Ladisla. They will be performing a Waltz to “Consequences (Orchestra)” by Camila Cabello.
  • Nina – Partnered with Jay Wyson. They will be dancing a Foxtrot to “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean.
  • Selena – Partnered with Jeremy Urann. They will be performing a Quickstep to “Such a Night” by Michael Bublé.

Of course, the judges will give their feedback, and then the weakest dancer will be sent home. Leaving us with four dancers heading into next week’s semifinals!

Last Week’s Episode

For Week 5, we had Daniella Karagach in the house. She started the night performing a routine filled with wow moments.

The dancers were then partnered up and had to create a routine that not only featured one of the three “Dancing With the Stars” dance moves that went viral from Daniella’s dance, but they also had to create their own viral-worthy move.

While the couples were working out their routines, Selena and Erik were struggling with coming up with their wow moment. They weren’t on the same page with things, as Erik wanted to keep it simple and Selena felt she needed to have a big moment since contemporary was her dance style.

They never did have that wow moment, and the judges weren’t impressed. The judges felt Selena stood out more, which meant Erik was eliminated.

Which dancer are you excited to see perform during Week 6?

“DWTS: The Next Pro” airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
