Witney Carson Says ‘Everything Will Be Cleared Up’ in Major ‘DWTS’ Tease

Witney Carson has some big news coming, and she knows “Dancing With the Stars” fans have plenty of questions. The reigning “DWTS” champion, who took home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with Robert Irwin on Season 34, recently announced that she’ll appear on “Good Morning America” on Monday, August 17, 2026.

It looks like Carson, 32, isn’t just stopping by the morning talk show for a chat. She says she has three “huge announcements” to share. The timing is definitely getting fans chatting, especially with Season 35 right around the corner and rumors already swirling about the upcoming cast.

Answers Are Coming

In the Instagram video shared on Witney’s page, Carson acknowledged that fans have probably heard some of the rumors going around out there about her.

She said, “I know that there are a lot of rumors out there. Everything will be cleared up on Monday.”

From the sounds of it, “DWTS” fans have some exciting news coming on Monday morning.

Carson added, “I promise you guys, you are not ready for what I’m about to spill.”

While she did say three big announcements were coming, she didn’t give any details on what any of the announcements would be about.

The video comes after fans took notice that she was absent from “DWTS” Con in Palm Springs despite previously being advertised as one of the stars scheduled to appear. She has not come out and offered her fans an explanation for why she missed the event.

Will They Announce a ‘DWTS’ Season 35 Pairing?

It seems like Carson’s big announcement also comes as rumors have been heating up about the first celebrity-pro pairing for Season 35.

As Parade reported, “Dancing With the Stars” insider Kristyn Burtt claims the show is expected to reveal its first partnership on “Good Morning America” on Monday, August 17. However, ABC has not confirmed that a pairing will be announced or that Carson is involved.

So far, we have had four celebrities announced for Season 35: “Summer House” star Ciara Miller, “Love Island” alum Maura Higgins, Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson, and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” personality Guillermo Rodriguez.

The full “DWTS” Season 35 cast will be revealed on “Good Morning America” on September 2.

Witney Carson Is Next Guest Judge/Mentor on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’

Witney might be showing up to “GMA” on Monday morning to promote her appearance on “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” that night.

Carson will serve as a guest judge and mentor this week for the reality TV competition. “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” is searching for a new professional dancer, which will join the franchise for Season 35.

That competition is down to five dancers: Allen Genkin, Nina Mayster, Adele Zaikman, AJ Pritchard, and Selena Hamilton.

For Witney’s challenge, it’s all about being able to teach a novice. The remaining contestants will be paired with social media influencers who have zero dance experience. They have to teach their partners ballroom routines. This will give the judges a chance to see how well they can work with beginner dancers.

‘DWTS’ Season 35 Is So Close

We are getting closer and closer to the start of Season 35. Burtt said fans could soon see celebrities and pros arriving to rehearsals in masks and disguises.

This happens every season, as the show is trying to keep the remaining pairings a secret. There are also tents going up around the rehearsal studio to help hide the cast.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 35 premieres on Tuesday, September 15, on ABC and Disney+. New episodes will then be available to stream the following day on Hulu.

In the meantime, all eyes will be on Carson Monday morning. Whether her announcement involves Season 35 news, her absence from “DWTS” Con, or that she is pregnant (which many fans think she is), she is promising fans they’ll finally get some answers.
