Dance Details For Week 7 on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’
These dancers are competing to be named a pro dancer on the show. They will land a spot as one of the pro dancers for Season 35 this fall.
We are down to four dancers remaining. One of these dancers will be competing against the other pro dancers on the actual show this fall. For tonight, they will be dancing with them as their partners.
ABC has given us some “DWTS: The Next Pro” spoilers with the pairings, the dance style they are assigned, and the song they’ll be performing to. The synopsis said there will be two semifinal rounds. One round is with one of the pro dancers:
- Adele – Partnered with Gleb Savchenko. They will be dancing a Samba to “Magalenha” by Sergio Mendes.
- AJ – Partnered with Rylee Arnold. They will be dancing a Cha Cha to “Lil Boo Thang (Remix)” by Paul Russell.
- Allen – Partnered with Witney Carson. They will be performing a Jive to “Shake” by Stephen Sanchez.
- Selena – Partnered with Jan Ravnik. They will be performing a Salsa to “La Mudanza” by Bad Bunny.
The second round will be the Top 4 pairing up:
- Selena & Allen – They will be dancing a Quickstep to “Valerie” by Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse.
- Adele & AJ – They will be dancing a Foxtrot to “Too Sweet” by Hozier.
Of course, the judges will give their feedback, and then the weakest dancer will be sent home. Leaving us with three dancers heading into next week’s finale!
Last Week’s Episode
For Week 6, we had Witney Carson in the house. The dancers would be faced with teaching ballroom to novices, like they would have to do as pro dancers on the show.
The dancers had two days to teach the routine to these newbies. They were definitely struggling with it, especially with the short timing.
While the dancers had two days to teach the performance, it turned out to not be enough time for Nina and her partner. She took too long on Day 1 teaching him posture. She was far behind on Day 2. Her routine didn’t feature much Foxtrot, which the judges need to see.
That lack of the Foxtrot moves cost Nina, as the judges sent her home.
Which dancer are you excited to see perform during Week 7?
“DWTS: The Next Pro” airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
