“Dancing with the Stars” fans have been waiting patiently for details of Season 34, including the list of celebrity competitors and professional dancers joining this season. Now that we have these answers, there is a lot of excitement for the new season: This is everything you need to know about Season 34, including where and when to watch it. 


When Does DWTS Season 34 Start?

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 will premiere on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The episodes will start at 8 p.m. ET and continue until 10 p.m. ET. The dance competition can be watched on ABC and Disney+.

For those unable to watch the show live, it will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu the day after. Voting can take place live during the show for viewers in ET and CT time zones, USA Today reports. Viewers can also vote on dwtsvote.abc.com, and via text with selected carriers within the United States. 


Everything To Know About DWTS 

Who will be competing? Who will be returning? The cohosts this season are Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. Judges are Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. 

Professional dancers Jenna Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Gleb Savchenko, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Alan Bersten, Rylee Arnold, Witney Carson, Brandon Armstrong, Mark Ballas, and Emma Slater are also returning. In addition to these seasoned pros, there is a new dancer this season, Jan Ravnik, who has proven his talents as a professional dancer on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. 

Competing for the Mirrorball Trophy, also known as the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, are: “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, comedian Andy Richter, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin. Also joining the show are Alec Baldwin’s wife and influencer Hilaria Baldwin, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles, NBA star Baron Davis, social media influencer Alix Earle, “The Traitors” star Dylan Efron, ‘80s child star Corey Feldman, “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel, actress Elaine Hendrix, and Grammy winner Scott Hoying. 

The last video posted on the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account was a video to promote the contestants and let fans get to know them better ahead of the season. “Get to know these incredible celebs before they hit the ballroom on the new season of #DWTS! Watch LIVE Tuesday, September 16 on @abc and @disneyplus! Next day on @hulu.”

In the video, Dylan Efron reveals he has never really performed before or been onstage. “But I’m hoping it runs in the family,” he says. His comment is in reference to his multi-talented sibling, Zac Efron.

Danielle Fishel says, “I am so excited!” She also shares that being a part of the show “feels incredible.”

“Crocodiles, I’ve got,” Robert Irwin states. “Venomous snakes? No worries! But dancing, I’m terrified.” He has the full support of his sibling, Bindi Irwin, who previously competed on Season 21 of the show and won alongside professional dancer Derek Hough.
