Robert Irwin Brings DWTS Magic to the Australia Zoo

Nearly five months after taking home a mirrorball trophy during DWTS Season 34, Robert Irwin is bringing a touch of ballroom magic to Australia Zoo.

The wildlife conservationist is sharing his dance journey with visitors to his family’s animal refuge through a new exhibit. The display offers a closer look at his time on the series, complete with memorable moments and personal highlights.

Robert Irwin Called His DWTS Experience a ‘Life Changing Journey’

In a new Instagram video, Robert Irwin reflected on his DWTS experience. He called Season 34 a “life-changing journey.”

Irwin captioned the clip, “So proud that now there are two mirrorballs at Australia Zoo now! Thanks for inspiring me to take that life-changing journey, Bindi Irwin.”

In the video, Irwin takes fans through a special exhibit of his and his sister Bindi Irwin’s DWTS experiences and wins. These iconic moments occurred a decade apart.

He explained, “I’m back at Australia Zoo, and I wanted to show you something. This is Bindi’s mirrorball and the dress she wore for the finale of DWTS.”

“And right here is Witney and I and our mirrorball for our season of DWTS. And the outfit I wore for the finale.”

Irwin continued, “We are right across from each other. Plus, how cool is it that that’s a very similar outfit to Bindi’s? We were wearing the same color spectrum, 10 years apart.”

“Next time you come visit Australia Zoo, keep an eye out,” Irwin concluded, pointing to the wall-sized photograph of the night he won the reality competition series.

Robert Irwin’s Fans Thrilled by the New Exhibit

In the comments section of Robert Irwin’s post, fans shared their thrill over the new brother-sister exhibit. Heartfelt reactions quickly poured in from excited followers.

“Still can’t believe this is real!! SO proud of you,” Bindi Irwin responded.

“I am very proud of you both,” the siblings’ mom, Terri Irwin, posted.

“Amazing!! Excited to see all this magic in real life this weekend!” wrote one follower.

A second fan believes the family legacy on the ABC dance series will continue. “In 20 years Grace will be joined to this room,” they said, speaking of Bindi’s daughter.

“Legendary mate. Your dad would be so proud of you,” posted a third Instagram user.

A fourth fan wondered if the siblings’ mother, Terri Irwin, would be next to compete. “Terri, you’re next now!” they declared.

“Dancing With the Stars” is currently on hiatus. Season 35 is set to debut in the Fall of 2026.
