Berry, who turned 60 on August 14, took a romantic trip with her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, and fans got an inside look at what they got up to. In photos on Instagram from Wednesday, August 19, the “Catwoman” star is seen rocking black lacy lingerie, a black bikini, a flowy dress, a wide-brimmed hat, and a pretty summer maxi dress. Her fashion choices are incredible, but the photos also show her covered in sand, smiling and laughing with Van Hunt, enjoying good food, and living her best life.
In the caption, Berry shared her thoughts, writing, “Some experiences stay with you forever! Thank you @zadunreserve @ritzcarltonreserve for making every moment of my 60th birthday celebration simply magical! The cuisine, Sensei wellness spa, wine making experience and boat adventures were beyond exquisite! This was a big birthday and, along with @vanhunt, you made it one I shall never forget!”

Halle Berry Embraces Aging & Finding Love Later in Life
In a June interview with Katie Couric Media, Berry discussed her decision to speak publicly about menopause, something for which she has been applauded for addressing so candidly. She has also spoken positively about aging, and many fans view her comments as inspiring. “I think what surprised me most is that I could feel this healthy, this strong, and this ready to take on new challenges,” she said.
She continued, “When I look back at my mother and grandmother at 40, they seemed old to me. But I’m turning 60 this year, and I don’t feel old at all. If you just look at the number, you might think, OK, you’re getting up there, but that’s not how I feel. In some ways, I actually feel healthier than I did 20 years ago. I’ve educated myself about my body. I exercise differently. I eat differently. I’m focused on longevity. I never expected to feel better at 60 than I did at 40, but in many ways, I do.”
Berry has also found the love of her life in her later years, having gone official with Van Hunt in September 2020. In an interview with ExtraTV in October 2021, Berry revealed they are madly in love, adding, “Sometimes you have to wait for things in life. I waited patiently — well, maybe not patiently, but I waited.”
