The photos of Kelce are fantastic, and he looks like a natural model in a turtleneck and fitted coat, but the shoot also offers a rare glimpse into his personal life as he opens up about the beloved pet he shares with his wife, Taylor Swift.
Travis Kelce Shares Love for His Dog
The couple owns a gorgeous Samoyed, and Kelce is a proud dog dad. When he was complimented on his dog during an interview with Vogue, published on Tuesday, September 1, he said, “Are you kidding me? She lights up my day.” This is the first time they’ve shared their dog publicly.
When he learned the campaign was looking for a dog, he volunteered theirs. “We figured, why not her? She crushed it, and actually really fit into that Tommy aesthetic, too,” he said. “Those are some of my favorite shots.” Kelce and Swift’s dog, whose name has not been publicly shared, is believed to be their fourth pet, as Swift also has three cats: Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin, People reports.
The interview wasn’t only a chance to talk about his dog or his marriage to Swift; His wedding has been a hot topic since he married Swift on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Instead, it was a time for Kelce to shine and discuss his career achievements and future goals.
Of his NFL career, he said, “Year 14, baby, I’m fired up. Every year there’s a chance to do something special — but especially coming into this year, getting Pat [Mahomes] back and wiping the slate clean. I love coming to the building every day.” Mahomes has been recovering from a torn ACL. He continued, “I know how special this team is, so I’m excited to get this thing rolling and for the chance to give the fans what they deserve.”
The Many Roles Travis Kelce Has Embraced
Kelce, along with his brother Jason Kelce, has also found success on their podcast “New Heights,” which they launched in 2022. In March 2023, Kelce hosted “Saturday Night Live,” and when his football career finally ends, there will be no shortage of things for him to do because this is a man who has endless talent. But could a fashion career be in his future?
Kelce is passionate about style, and he spoke about this in his interview with Vogue. “My style interest started when I was a kid, through my love for sports,” he said. He discussed how athletes’ collaborations with brands inspired him, and he praised football coach Deion Sanders for having “so much swagger in how he dressed and presented himself.”
Kelce continued, “I think that’s where the interest started, and I’m a bit of a chameleon, you know? I kind of take bits and pieces from everybody and everything that I see, and just kind of change things around depending on which situation I’m in and what event I’m going to.” But perhaps the best thing about Kelce’s approach to fashion is that he does not take it too seriously. He is all about fun and experimentation, and it really works for him. “I enjoy it. From throwing on some wacky stuff to some really slick stuff,” he told Vogue.
