While the Hallmark Channel celebrates its 25th birthday, fans might be looking back at the romantic stories and mysterious tales the stars have brought us over the years. Viewers might also be thinking about what’s to come, including what pairs we might see together onscreen.
Well, one fan asked Andrew Walker about that very thing while the actor was answering 25 questions that covered both his personal and professional life, including who he would still like to work with — and you’ll love his answer!
Andrew Would Love to Work with These 2 Popular Hallmark Stars
Walker took to Instagram on Monday, August 10, to share a video that shows him sitting down with his wife, Cassandra Troy, for a little one-on-one interview.
Among the 25 questions (and one bonus question) posed to Walker by fans via his spouse, he was asked, “Who would you like to work with that you still haven’t had the chance to yet?”
HallmarkAlthough there are plenty of different actresses to choose from, Walker had a definitive answer, and said, “I would love to work with Kimberley Sustad.”
He explained his choice, telling fans, “There are a few girls that are up there on my list, but, you know, Kim is just such a great friend of ours, and I just love her so much. I think it’d be great to work with her on screen.”
Although Sustad did pop up in “A Bride for Christmas,” which starred Walker, she was only in a supporting role. She also made a cameo in Walker’s “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (did you spot her as the pediatrician?). However, Walker and Sustad haven’t starred in a movie together yet.
HallmarkOn top of bringing up Sustad, Walker mentioned another Hallmark star he would love to collaborate with on a new movie, saying, “I would also love to work with Sarah Drew.”
While it might be hard to believe, Walker and Drew have never appeared in a movie together… not even in supporting roles.
Drew also talked about Walker back in December 2024, according to Digital Journal, saying, “I love Andrew! His wife, Cassandra, is one of my best friends too. I love her so much… she is like a sister. Andrew and I have gotten close this year as well doing promo for Hallmark.”
“While I haven’t had the chance to work with him yet, I watched a couple of movies that he made with a couple of friends of mine, and I was very impressed with his work,” she added. “Andrew is so talented.”

You can also see Sustad with Jesse Metcalfe in the newly released “Absolutely Devoted to You,” in which she plays a TV producer who’s determined to convince his character, a former ’90s boy band member, to return to his roots for a special reunion.
