2025 marked the 25th anniversary of “Gilmore Girls” and its fans. It found a new home on the Hallmark Channel, with the network announcing the news on July 19. There was also news that a “Gilmore Girls” 25th-anniversary documentary was being made. Although series leads Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel were absent from the cast list, many others, such as Kelly Bishop, were taking part.
Now that 2026 is upon us, so is a whole new year of fans refreshing their “Gilmore Girls” vocabulary. This could be your tenth rewatch, or maybe you’re a newbie to the show. Here’s everything you need to know about watching it on Hallmark.
Your Guide to Catching ‘Gilmore Girls’ on the Hallmark Channel
Seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls” are currently airing on the Hallmark Channel. The show stars Graham and Bledel as Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, a mother-daughter duo who are best friends. Kelly Bishop and Edward Herrmann play Lorelai’s parents, Emily and Richard. Scott Patterson co-stars as Luke, Lorelai’s friend/eventual romantic interest. He also owns the local diner, which Lorelai and Rory frequent. Melissa McCarthy gained recognition for her role as Lorelai’s best friend and a chef.
Unlike Hallmark Plus, which you can subscribe to on a standalone basis, the Hallmark Channel is a cable channel. If you have a cable service, such as Xfinity, Dish, or DirecTV, you can find the channel through Hallmark’s Channel Locator. Other ways to watch include Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling, Philo, Fubo, Frndly, or DirecTV Stream.
Hallmark Channel Reveals ‘Gilmore Girls’ Daily Airings
Three hour-long episodes of the show air daily, Monday through Friday, beginning at 10:00 AM CT. On Monday, Jan. 5, the first three episodes of Season 1 aired. For those diligent enough to watch every day, you can make it through the entire first season by Tuesday, January 13.
Season 2 begins on Wednesday, January 14. Unfortunately, the show doesn’t air on Monday, January 19. Instead, viewers can watch “Love in Paradise” at 9:00 AM CT and “One Winter Weekend” at 11:00 AM CT that day. This means fans watching daily will finish Season 2 on Monday, January 26, with the first two episodes of Season 3 following.
On Friday, December 30, Season 3 episodes 12, 13, and 14 are the final “Gilmore Girls” episodes of the month—only eight more to go until Season 4. Occasionally, Hallmark will air a “Gilmore Girls” marathon, but not in January 2026.

So happy Gilmore Girls is back! Unfortunately the worst show, disgusting/nasty Golden Girls is back -all night and all morning! A whore, a mean old lady and a snarky, nasty woman who constantly makes fun of the only decent woman in the cast.
