On October 27, Hallmark Channel star Tamera Mowry-Housley announced it was time to celebrate the birth of a very special woman: her mother, Darlene. And, as she has for many years now, she’s sharing some photos of her mother that haven’t been seen before.
Tamera Mowry-Housley Wishes Her Mom Happy Birthday With Sweet Post
“Happiest of birthdays to my mom! We love you so— thanks for supporting my dreams and teaching me the way to go,” the “Dream Moms” star wrote. “We celebrate you today and every day. Love you so much! Can’t wait to see you soon for some great steaks and crabs by chef Adam Housley 🩷.”
Along with the emotional Instagram post, she attached a carousel of photos. In the first one, she and her sister Tia Mowry are posing with their mom. Dressed identically, except for different-colored hair ribbons, it’s startling to see how much the twins look like their mother as adults.
The second photo was taken at the premiere of the 2007 film, “Are We Done Yet?” Tamera and Tia’s younger brother, Tahj, co-starred in the movie alongside Ice Cube and Nia Long.

Tamera Mowry-Housley Shares Throwback Photos of Mom on Her Birthday
Sharing never-before-seen photos of her ‘Momma’ on her birthday has become a yearly ritual for the “Baked With Love: Holiday” star. In 2022, she posted a photo of her mother posing alongside her and Tia as toddlers. Her mother looks incredibly youthful in a hot pink halter top and shorts.
In 2024, she wished her mother a happy birthday and went all the way back to before she and Tia were even born, with a school photo of her mother. She thanked her for “always being there and inspirational with your favorite word, “STAY FOCUSED.”
Tia and Tamera Fuel Speculation with NYC Meeting
Just days before posting about her mom’s birthday, both Tia and Tamera made fans very happy. The two, who haven’t been seen together as often as many would like, met up in New York City.
Tamera was in New York City to do press for her new show, “Baked With Love: Holiday,” which premiered on October 27. She shared an Instagram video showing her pampering herself and doing some shopping therapy with Tia. But fans were more interested when she hinted that they were “working on VERY special projects we can’t wait to share with you soon…”
Fans will have to wait to learn the news, but many are hoping it has something to do with the “Buried at C” star’s recent pitch for “Twitches 3.”
