Raise your hand if you’re guilty of multitasking while on Zoom calls and meetings. While some of us may also be checking emails or working on other projects, another group has had their pets wander into the room. Those cat and dog family members may be snuggled on our laps or playing nearby to grab our attention. Or, as is the case with Hallmark star Tyler Hynes, trimming the excess fur on our little fluffball’s paws.
Tyler Hynes’ Adorably Grooms Dog During Zoom Call
On Feb. 23, Hynes posted to his Instagram stories a video captioned, “What I’m doing during the zoom call.” In the video, his black Pomeranian, Rusty James, is shown calmly lying on a paper towel. The adorable pup patiently waits while Hynes trims the too-long fur that’s growing around his nails and pads. At the end of the video, Rusty looks up at his human companion with a look of utter love and trust.
The “Christmas in the Clouds” star occasionally posts photos and videos of his beloved dog, showcasing their incredible bond. In Sept. 2025, he returned home after being gone filming for two months. He posted a video of himself opening the door, showing Rusty absolutely exuberant with joy at Hynes’ return. The wiggly dog made sure to give him lots of doggy kisses as the two played and cuddled.
Tyler Hynes Honored Bond with Dog Rusty James Via Fur Baby Charm
The “Three Wisest Men” star’s love for Rusty has always been evident, but never more so than when he decided to create a bracelet charm dedicated to him. On Feb. 1, 2025, Hynes announced that, just in time for Valentine’s Day, he was introducing the Fur Baby Charm.
“Our fury children are there. Through good times. Through hard times. On our time,” he captioned an Instagram post celebrating the limited-edition bauble.
He proclaimed, “Our pets are much more than just pets,” before opening up about Rusty’s recent health issues.
“My lil man has been on his lil health journey and being with him, well… there’s simply not much else I’d rather do,” he wrote. “And I know so many of you feel the same about your own and some even about sir Rusty Thanos Achilles Hercules Apollo James :).”
Whether he’s immortalizing Rusty with a gold charm or taking a leisurely boat cruise with him snuggled up in his arms, seeing the bond between Hynes and his fur baby will always make us melt.
