HGTV star Alison Victoria and boyfriend Brandt Andersen love to travel. They often document their adventures on social media, including a recent last-minute trip to Morocco.
However, fans were left stunned when they learned of the couple’s “summer tradition.”
‘Summer Tradition’
The “Sin City Rehab” star and Andersen flew to Greece to soak up the sun and enjoy the remaining days of summer. While the fashionista has shared snaps of her Mediterranean inspired outfits, it’s one special “summer tradition” that has fans talking.
“Every summer we snorkel for new treasures, set up my beachside “shop” for anyone passing by, and bring home only the ones that make the cut AND Snorkel lines for the next two months,” Victoria shared to Instagram on Thursday, August 20, alongside a photo dump of their “haul.”
She added, “Our little summer tradition. Same place, same love…every year.”
Within the photo dump were a selfie of Alison and Brandt posing with their snorkel gear, a selfie of the design pro smiling with her face mask and a fanny pack for shell collecting on her hip, and one of her emerging from the water carrying a full conch shell.
The rest of the images showed off their finds laid out on the shoreline for passersby to admire and take home.
Fans were amazed and the beauty and sheer number of shells the couple was able to uncover.
“Wow, as someone who loves to shell and comb beaches wherever I am, that’s a beautiful haul!” one fan commented.
“Aweeeee what a great idea! I would look forward to this all year!” another wrote.
“If anyone deserves to show it off it’s you. Well done,” a third added.
Another fan said, “Your collections are everything!!”
Alison’s Travels
The former “Windy City Rehab” star recently ended her podcast, “Pap Smear,” and transitioned her hobby to writing Substack articles. In one recent post, she explained that travel has become a huge part of her life, including during the filming of her HGTV shows.
“If you’ve followed me for a while (or even just a week), you’ll know that I am always… and I really do mean always… traveling,” she shared on August 18. “I’d love to tell you that now that I’m filming Sin City Rehab in the city where I actually live, life has slowed down a bit.”
Victoria added, “It hasn’t. Between filming, design projects, appearances, sourcing trips, vacations and a long-distance relationship, I’d say I’m on a plane at least two days a week. Minimum. Lately, it’s been closer to four, which feels a little psychotic… but somehow that’s become my normal.”
The couple — along with Andersen’s adult children — traveled to Morocco after a preplanned trip to Alaska was canceled. The blended family trip was a new experience for the “Battle on the Beach” alum.
“Traveling with any group always guarantees a little chaos, and memories you could never plan for. Looking back, I can’t imagine experiencing Morocco any other way,” she shared. ““This was the first trip we’d ever taken together as one big family, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. I’m the girlfriend. I don’t have kids. And while they’re technically adults now, stepping into someone else’s family dynamic, especially on an international trip, isn’t exactly something you get to rehearse.”
Despite her added nerves, Victoria called Morocco “one of the best trips I’ve ever taken.”
