HGTV couple Tarek and Heather El Moussa’s son Tristan reached a major growth milestone that the proud parents were not expecting.
The “Flip Off” stars shared their excitement for the 3-year-old with a series of photos documenting his achievement.
Tristan’s Milestone
Heather shared a series of photos from a recent family day at Disneyland, in which she opened up about Tristan hitting a major childhood milestone.
“Disney day with the family!! We weren’t expecting Tristan to be tall enough for a lot of the rides but he finally was!” she captioned her Monday, August 17, Instagram post. “Our big boy got to ride the Cars ride for the first time & he’s such Cars lover too which made it so special to experience that with him✨🎠🎡 memories made 🤍✨🎠🎡”
The “Selling Sunset” star shared photos from their day, including posing with Tarek’s older children, Taylor and Brayden, whom he shares with ex Christina Haack. She also shared a clip of Tristan’s first ride on Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure. Cousins and grandparents were also included in the magical day.

Co-Parenting Win
Tarek, Heather and Christina often get praised for their seemingly flawless co-parenting as the women have formed an unbreakable bond over the years.
“Nothing weird about it to us, it’s just family. 🧡” Heather captioned an Instagram video from a day at Legoland with Christina and the kids in May.
“These boys don’t even know they’re supposed to find this weird,” the Netflix star wrote over the video as the little boys played together and enjoyed the park.
Fans praised the women for their co-parenting wins, with one follower writing, “That’s what makes everything about this extra beautiful and so special!”
“Definitely not weird. They have the same older brother and sister so its nice that they have a bond as well. I love this !” another wrote.

Heather previously revealed that roller coasters are one way she bonds with her step-children.
“Fun fact, we’re both rollercoaster junkies 🎢😅,” she shared alongside a July photo dump. “We love a trip to @knottsberryfarm with the kids. Both of us grew up coming here often and now we get to come with the big kids and it’s even more fun. ❤️”
Heather and Tarek met during a Fourth of July celebration in 2019. They were partying on adjacent boats in Newport Beach, California, and immediately hit it off. Their relationship progressed quickly and they made it Instagram Official just one month later.
Tarek proposed one year after meeting Heather, during a trip to Catalina Island. They were married in October 2021 in Montecito, California, and would welcome their son, Tristan, in January 2023.
