A cast reunion of the beloved comedy “Bridesmaids” will soon be hitting one of Hollywood’s biggest stages.
Sources say several of the lead stars from the 2011 film are expected to come together during the upcoming 2026 Academy Awards ceremony. Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne are all reportedly involved in plans for a special onstage moment honoring the movie’s legacy.
The reunion will mark the 15th anniversary of “Bridesmaids,” the wildly successful film that has gone on to become a cultural phenomenon since its release.

According to Variety, the reunion will bring together several of the film’s most recognizable stars for a nostalgic moment celebrating one of the most influential comedies of the 2010s.
Directed by Paul Feig, “Bridesmaids” starred Wiig as Annie, a struggling woman whose life begins to unravel as she navigates the chaotic responsibilities of serving as maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding.
The ensemble cast included Rudolph, McCarthy, Byrne, Ellie Kemper and Wendi McLendon-Covey, with the film earning praise for its sharp writing and memorable comedic performances.
“Bridesmaids” was also a critical success during awards season. McCarthy received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her breakout performance as Megan. Meanwhile, Wiig and Annie Mumolo earned a nomination for Best Original Screenplay for their work writing the film.
The reunion will provide Oscars viewers with a rare opportunity to see several of the cast members reunite publicly to celebrate the movie’s lasting impact.
Tributes & Presenters Planned for 2026 Oscars Ceremony
The “Bridesmaids” reunion is reportedly one of several special moments planned for the 2026 Academy Awards.
Industry insiders indicate that Barbra Streisand is in discussions to perform during the In Memoriam segment. According to Page Six, the performance would pay tribute to her “The Way We Were” co-star Robert Redford.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the performance would feature Streisand alone or include additional artists.
The ceremony is also expected to include a tribute honoring filmmaker Rob Reiner. Actor Billy Crystal will reportedly lead the segment alongside several stars who appeared in Reiner’s films. Actress Meg Ryan is among those expected to participate.
In addition to these tributes, the Academy has announced a wide-ranging list of presenters for the evening. Confirmed presenters include a slew of A-listers such as Paul Mescal, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Zoe Saldaña and Maya Rudolph.
The 98th Academy Awards will be hosted by Conan O’Brien and will take place on March 15 and will air live on ABC.
