Joseph Duggar was seen in a Panama City, Florida airport heading back home to Arkansas accompanied by his father, Jim Bob. An eagle-eyed observer caught the moment on camera in photos that show the pair walking toward their gate. Both men are wearing ball caps, and Joseph appears to be carrying a plate of food while Jim Bob holds a black backpack.
In one shot, the duo appears to be possibly having a tense conversation, as Joseph seems to wave his finger towards his dad.
The airport sighting took place the same day Joseph was released from custody at the Bay County, Florida jail after Jim Bob traveled there to post his son’s $600,000 bond, per his attorney’s comments. During his video arraignment, the former TLC star’s attorney also stated, “He’s asking to be treated as fairly as anyone else, regardless of his status in the television industry.” A video of the hearing was published by Page Six.
Jim Bob Duggar Thanked Fans for ‘Prayers’ On Monday
In a statement released on Monday, March 30, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar told People through their reps that they are “heartbroken over this entire situation.” The statement continued, “Right now, they are focused on loving their family and helping Kendra and her children during this difficult time,” referencing Joseph’s wife of 9 years, with whom he shares 4 children.
The 27-year-old was heard on a jail call obtained by People telling Joseph that she was staying somewhere “very private” amid the difficult time.
The statement also alluded to the Duggars’ focus on their faith, saying, “They are praying for the victim. They ask for privacy and appreciate the kind words and prayers offered by so many.”
Duggar Siblings Slowly Resume Normal Social Media Posting
While Joseph and his wife Kendra abruptly stopped sharing on social media in 2021, several of the famous Duggar siblings continue to run popular social media accounts. After several of them spoke out about their brother’s recent troubles, they are easing back into their normal posting routines.
Jinger Vuolo, Jim Bob and Michelle’s 6th child, shared a video on March 31 about her favorite essentials she packs in the diaper bag for her youngest child, Finn, who just turned one.
Meanwhile, Jill Dillard has been posting cheerful updates from her family’s spring break beach vacation.
