The 98th Annual Academy Awards is already shaping up to be one of the most memorable ceremonies in recent years. Hollywood’s most beloved stars will be heading to the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 15 to celebrate this year’s outstanding achievements in film.
Viewers can look forward to a number of exciting reunions during this year’s telecast. There have been media reports that the cast of “Bridesmaids” will have a major reunion while presenting together for the film’s 15th anniversary, per Billboard. Although it is not yet confirmed by the Academy, media reports also suggest that Barbra Streisand may appear during the “In Memoriam” segment to honor Robert Redford, her co-star in “The Way We Were,” and that Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan will honor the late Rob Reiner, who was their director in the iconic romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally…”
There will also be performances from two of the five Oscar-nominated songs, which are “I Lied to You” from “Sinners” and “Golden” from “KPop Demon Hunters.”

Who Is Presenting at the Oscars?

Conan O’Brien Will Be Hosting the 2026 Oscars
Following the 2025 Oscars, Variety wrote that O’Brien “absolutely rocked his debut as a host, walking the perfect line between acid and affection.” Following such a widely praised performance last year, viewers are geared up to see the beloved comedian grace the stage yet again, marking his second consecutive year as the ceremony’s host.
Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy president Janet Yang described working with O’Brien in 2025 as “an honour” and that he “was the perfect host – skillfully guiding us through the evening with humour, warmth and reverence,” per The Guardian.
“The only reason I’m hosting the Oscars next year is that I want to hear Adrien Brody finish his speech,” O’Brien joked in a press release last year, referring to the actor’s lengthy, record-breaking acceptance speech that he delivered after winning Best Actor, per PEOPLE.
