Tamra Judge has a new reason to celebrate at home.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star revealed that she and her family have welcomed another four-legged member into the fold, sharing the news with fans in a sweet Instagram post.
Judge announced that she was bringing home Capri, a rescue puppy from the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center in California.
“So excited to welcome our newest family member! We’re picking up sweet Capri today and can’t wait to bring her home. 🥹🤍” Judge wrote alongside a carousel of photos from the shelter.
The announcement marks the latest chapter in Judge’s longtime support of animal rescue, and fans quickly filled the comments with messages celebrating Capri’s new home.
Tamra Judge Welcomes Rescue Puppy Capri
In the photos, Judge could be seen holding the small black-and-white puppy outside the Mission Viejo shelter ahead of bringing her home.
For longtime followers of the Bravo star, the decision to adopt may feel familiar. This isn’t the first time Judge and her husband, Eddie Judge, have turned to the same California shelter when adding a dog to their family.
In 2023, the couple adopted Rugby, then a six-month-old pit bull, from the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center. That adoption came roughly a year after the death of their beloved dog Bronx, who had been part of the family for 14 years.
At the time, Judge explained that opening their home to another rescue felt like a fitting way to honor Bronx.
“A year ago today, we were making plans to say goodbye to Bronx after 14 years. The morning of July 4th still hurts to the bone,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
Judge then shared the thinking behind the family’s decision to adopt Rugby.
“There’s no better way to honor Bronx than giving a homeless dog love and security. Meet Rugby, he’s a very energetic 6 month old pitty (just like Bronx). He’s perfect!”
Now, three years later, Capri is joining the family as well.

Judge’s newest adoption drew an enthusiastic response from followers, including several who praised her decision to rescue.
“She is perfect!!!” one fan commented, while another called Capri “so darling.”
Another follower, who identified herself as a foster dog mom, thanked Judge for continuing to advocate for rescue animals.
The family update comes as Judge remains one of the most recognizable faces of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” After originally joining the franchise in Season 3, she spent more than a decade on the show before departing after Season 14. Judge ultimately returned to RHOC for Season 17.
Away from the cameras, however, Judge has repeatedly shared glimpses of her life with Eddie, her children and the family’s dogs with her social media followers.
Capri is now the latest addition to that crew, and judging by Judge’s excitement before she had even brought the puppy home, the newest member of the family already has quite the welcome waiting for her.
