Taylor Frankie Paul’s Future On ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Revealed

In March, ABC made the decision to cancel Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” despite the entire season having already been filmed. It was due to a video that was released showing Paul involved in an altercation with her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

But that wasn’t the only show impacted by this incident.

Production for Season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” was also paused. But after about a month, it seems the cameras are getting ready to pick back up again.

TMZ reports that the Hulu series is “going back into production soon,” with the sources adding that it’s unclear if Paul or Mortensen “will be a part of filming with the rest of the cast when cameras go back up.”

But even if Paul isn’t there for some of season 5, she isn’t planning on permanently stepping back.

In another report from TMZ, the outlet stated that Paul is set to return to the hit show “at some point,” but for now is focusing on her family.

Sources told TMZ that “Taylor’s priority remains her kids and family, but she is not completely cutting off ties with the show, as we’re told she will film at some point.” And with that, production as well as the cast are “supportive” of her return when she is ready.

However, for the rest of the cast, the sources added that “cameras will go up nearly immediately … even as early as this week.”

Taylor Frankie Paul Recently Shared A Vulnerable Post About Healing

In an emotional Instagram post on April 19 that included three photos of Paul, all of which were mirror selfies that have her face covered by her phone, she shared a caption detailing her process of healing amidst this situation including Mortensen.

“Here comes the ugly parts of what healing actually looks like,” she began. “If you know me, you know I’ll admit my parts, flaws, and faults. I’m well aware that’s a part of it. We’ll get there. This public atrocity that I not only lived through once but twice now, on even a bigger scale, was ultimately the cost to my freedom. I wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy or even the ones who publicized it.”

Paul also included a message, leaning on her religion while also thanking everyone who supported her, as it was revealed that no charges were filed against the reality tv star in relation to an allegation of domestic violence this year.

“We’re working on eating, movement, rest, and retraining the nervous system,” she concluded her message. “I’ll be sharing the process, because if my worst is shared better bet I’ll share the rebuilding too.”

Among those who showed support in the comments was her co-star Jessi Draper, who wrote, “I’ve got you always ❤️❤️.”
