“Love Island USA” stars Trinity Tatum and Kayda Bosse are looking back at their time in the villa. Moreover, they are clearing up a few rumors along the way.
Tatum and Bosse appeared together on Complex’s “GOAT Talk,” published Aug. 26. During their appearance, the friends debated their favorite and least favorite things from “Love Island USA.” They also discussed their relationships and reflected on memorable villa moments. The conversation came ahead of the Season 8 reunion, which premieres Aug. 31 on Peacock.
The pair kept the interview lighthearted while offering fans new insight into how their relationships have developed outside the villa.
Trinity Tatum and Kayda Bosse Talk Life After ‘Love Island USA’
When asked about relationship non-negotiables, Tatum and Bosse agreed that sharing locations with their partners was important. Additionally, they explained that the practice was partly about safety, while joking that they were also naturally curious about where their partners were.
They also discussed their favorite post-villa dates. One recalled being taken to a steakhouse near Malibu after leaving the villa. Meanwhile, the other said she prefers activity-based dates such as fairs or axe throwing rather than simply sitting down for dinner.
Their conversation eventually turned toward relationship advice. The women stressed that couples should avoid comparing themselves to others because every relationship develops differently. They also agreed that disagreements should be handled privately rather than embarrassing a partner publicly.
The ‘Love Island USA’ Stars Look Back at the Villa
Tatum and Bosse also revisited some of their favorite memories from filming.
They singled out the Casa recoupling and a girls’ day as standout moments. Notably, they remembered how the women supported one another during an emotional stretch of the competition.
Not every villa experience earned the same praise. For example, the infamous food challenge received a much less enthusiastic review, with the women joking about how unpleasant they found parts of the competition.
The Islanders also praised former contestants from previous seasons, including Serena Page and Leah Kateb. In addition, they credited the Season 6 women with helping pave the way for the show’s newer cast members.
Kayda Bosse Clears Up a Reunion Rumor
The conversation became more serious when Bosse addressed speculation surrounding the upcoming reunion.
She firmly denied a rumor claiming she had been escorted out after getting into an altercation. Bosse said she was never involved in a physical fight and was never removed from the reunion.
Both women said the reunion helped resolve miscommunication and false narratives among the cast. They appeared ready to move forward rather than continue revisiting conflicts after filming.
They ended their appearance by thanking viewers for supporting them throughout the season. Furthermore, they encouraged fans to show kindness toward their fellow Islanders. Their appearance also gave viewers a glimpse at how their friendships and relationships have continued evolving since leaving the villa.
“Be nice to them, guys. They’re still people,” Bosse said.
