Soap and sitcom star Jackée Harry just marked a major birthday. The “Days of Our Lives” star got brutally honest about the milestone, expressing her gratitude for her life.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Jackée Harry Turns 70
On August 14, the “227” star turned 70, and she took a moment to reflect. In an Instagram post, Harry shared a stunning photo accompanied by a touching message.
“70!!! And grateful. 🙏🏾 I’ve survived many men, many a bad wig, and many television networks.. Life has given me plenty to laugh about and plenty to cry about, too. But I’m still here and still pushing forward. What a blessing it is. Thank you for all of the birthday love ♥️,” she wrote.
Harry was flooded with love and birthday wishes in the comments section of her Instagram post from fans and familiar faces, including several of her “Days of Our Lives” co-stars.
“Happy Birthday to one of the greats! So happy to know you! 😘” gushed Martha Madison (Belle). Paul Telfer (Xander), Robert Scott Wilson (Alex), and Lamon Archey (Eli) all wished Harry a very Happy Birthday on her special day.
Actress Loretta Devine, who worked with Harry in the Lifetime movie “Family Reunion Christmas,” gushed, “You the magic, happy birthday loretta Ain’t life after seventy grand grand, GRAND.” Harry’s close friend and former “Days of Our Lives” and “227” co-star Marla Gibbs said, “Happy birthday! 🎂🎂🎂.”

Fans also hit up the comments with birthday wishes and praise for Harry, calling her a “Queen,” a “Beauty,” and more. Oh yes, there was no shortage of love for Harry as she marked her milestone birthday.
At 70 years old, Harry has no plans of slowing down. The actress has been playing Paulina Price on “Days of Our Lives” for five years, while also making Lifetime movies like “Home Makeover Nightmare” and the upcoming Christmas film, “A Perfect Christmas Kiss.” Harry intends to keep to doing both of those things and more.
Jackée Harry Opens Up About Facelift
In January, the “Sister Sister” star revealed that she had a deep plane facelift last fall and had no regrets about her decision. Harry explained in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she had been obsessing about having the cosmetic procedure for a couple of years.
“I have no qualms about how old I am or who I am. This helps it. Boosts it. It pushes it forward. So why not?” she expressed.
What the actress really wanted was to remove some loose, sagging skin around her neck. Harry lost 50 pounds by using GLP-1, which was initially prescribed when she was diagnosed with pre-diabetes.
However, Harry’s fear of pain and worry that she wouldn’t look like herself kept her from moving forward. Then she finally realized it was something she had to do.
“When you constantly want something that bad, you’ve got to do it. And I discovered I wanted it that bad,” Harry declared.
The actress has been beyond thrilled with the results. She credited Dr. Patrick Davis for the results, saying, “I’m still me.”
