“General Hospital” star Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) getting fans ready for what’s coming now that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has woken up from her coma and has finally seen her not-so-dead husband, Nathan (Ryan Paevey). The actor gave a little tease about the “General Hospital” love triangle that fans have been waiting months to see play out.
Bradford Anderson Promises ‘Cool’ Storyline on ‘General Hospital’
Ever since Nathan returned to Port Charles, it was inevitable that Maxie was going to have to choose between him and Spinelli. The two men are the great loves of Maxie’s life.
Now with Maxie awake and back home, the drama’s heating up as she adjusts to life moving on without her while she is in a coma, and Nathan being alive. Spinelli’s smack dab in the middle of it all fearing Maxie will leave him, breaking up their little family, and go back to Nathan.
Anderson recently addressed what’s next for his alter ego amid this highly anticipated love triangle.
“Thus begins a cool little arc,” he shared with Soap Opera Digest.
Fans won’t be waiting long for this storyline to kick into high gear, and Anderson can’t wait for fans to see it play out.
The soap star expressed, “I’m excited for you guys to see what happens over the next week or so, and I’m really grateful that they wrote it so well.”
Anderson isn’t spilling any details, but he did thoroughly enjoy playing what’s coming up on the ABC soap.
‘General Hospital’ Fans Weigh in on Maxie’s True Love
The Stone Cold and Jackal Instagram page, which is Anderson and Steve Burton’s (Jason) official account for their podcast and comedy shows, asked fans who they felt was Maxie’s soulmate. Fans filled up the comments to debate this hot soap topic, and Spinelli came out on top.
“Spinelli. Maxi can have love for Nathan and share James but leave Maxie and Spinelli alone,” insisted a fan. One fan added, “Spinelli is her person! ❤️”
Another fan shared, “Obviously, Nathan has the opportunity to have a new love, by the way she is still married. Spinelli is by her side and loves her and always will. Definitely Spinelli.” “Spinelli,❤️ Spinelli ❤️Spinelli❤️. Nathan‘s in love with Lulu keep it that way,” declared a different fan.
The latter two comments refer to the fact that Nathan developed feelings for Lulu (Alexa Havins) while Maxie was in a coma.
Even though Spinelli was the clear winner, not all fans were rooting for him. A fan chimed in to say, “Maxie and Nathan should be together they are my favorite couple they fit each other perfectly.”
One fan couldn’t decide between the two men, declaring, “But she loved Nathan first, Spinelli is great too, it’s a hard call they both are wonderful!!”
