Actor and talk show host Mark Consuelos first rose to prominence as Mateo Santos on the ABC soap opera “All My Children.” The 55-year-old was a regular on the soap from 1995 to 2002.
The soap not only gave Consuelos the start to his entertainment career, but it also opened up the door to meeting his future wife, Kelly Ripa. At the time of their first meeting, Ripa had already been in Pine Valley for five years. Ripa portrayed Hayley Vaughn, the daughter of Adam Chandler and Arlene Vaughn, from 1990 to 2002.

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s 24-year-old daughter, Lola Consuelos, took to social media to pen a sweet birthday message to her dad. The aspiring singer shared a series of never-before-seen photos of the Consuelos family.
Lola captioned her post, “Happy birthday to my superhero. You will forever and always be the most important man in my life. I wish more than anything that I were with you today, more than ever this year.”
She ended her birthday tribute, writing, “I LOVE YOU, DAD! The coolest Mexican, Italian man to walk this earth!!!!!!!”
Mark Consuelos quickly responded to the sweet birthday message, writing, “Love you, Lolly!!!”
Along with Lola, Consuelos has two more children: Michael and Joaquin. Consuelos shares all three of his children with his wife, Kelly Ripa.
Mark Consuelos’ Son Is Following in His Footsteps
Mark and Kelly welcomed their first son, Michael Joseph, in June 1997. Michael graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in May 2020.
In 2018 and 2021, Michael joined Mark on the set of “Riverdale,” where he portrayed the younger version of Hiram Lodge, Mark’s character on the show. Michael Consuelos is continuing to pursue a career as an actor, writer, and director.
Lola Consuelos Is Taking a Different Entertainment Route Than Her Parents
Mark and Kelly’s second child and only daughter, Lola Grace, was born in June 2001. Lola Consuelos graduated from New York University with a degree in music and production in May 2023.
The couple’s daughter launched her music career in August 2022, with her debut single, “Paranoia Silverlining.” Her debut EP, “Sorry, It’s All About Me,” was released in December 2025. It can be listened to on all major streaming platforms.
Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s Youngest Son Is Forging His Own Path
The couple’s youngest child and second son, Joaquin Antonio, arrived in February 2003. The 23-year-old attended the University of Michigan, where he wrestled at the collegiate level. In 2022, Joaquin Consuelos and his teammates won the Big Ten wrestling championship.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2025. Since his college graduation, Joaquin has landed his first acting gig. He made his Broadway debut in “Death of a Salesman” in March 2026.
