On “The Young and the Restless,” Sienna and Noah have established their love for each other – but actor Tamara Braun, who plays Sienna, says that things aren’t all “fairytales and magic.”
In an interview with Soaps.com, Braun revealed there could be a rocky road ahead for the couple.
Who Is Sienna Bacall?
The character of Sienna Bacall has been stirring up plenty of drama since her arrival in Genoa City.
When Sienna discovered her club-owner husband Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth) was actually the murderous villain Matt Clark, trouble started brewing.
“Her inner monologue is, ‘WTF!’… What the hell?’ Can you imagine?” Braun joked to Soap Opera Digest.
“Obviously, she knew that Mitch was a bad boy. But she did not know that he was a bad man, an evil man.”
She found comfort with Noah (Lucas Adams) after Mitch’s betrayal.
“[Mitch] was controlling and jealous, but also, his attention was elsewhere,” Braun explained.
“When no one’s paying attention to you at home, and you’re not made to feel good about how you are at home and you’ve been pushed into somebody else’s space, things can happen. And they did!”
However, Sienna and Noah’s happy ending is up in the air, after Noah recently shared an intimate moment with his old flame Audra (Zuleyka Silver), reminiscing on their past.
Tamara Braun: A Part Of Sienna “Doesn’t Want To Trust” Noah
Braun discussed Sienna and Noah’s relationship dramas in an interview with Soaps.com.
“She has seen a life that isn’t easy. It isn’t rosy and just fairy tales and magic, you know?” she said.
“There is that tiny little thought in the back of her head that says, ‘Oh, I can’t feel too safe. I always still have to take care of myself.'”
“A part of her doesn’t want to trust in [the relationship], because she’s wondering, when does the rug get pulled out from under her?”
She also discussed Sienna’s feelings about Matt’s vendetta against the Newmans.
“When she first came to Genoa City and wanted to leave… she was trying to protect Noah and get his family out of a situation which she feels responsible for,” she said.
“[Sienna] believes that if she hadn’t been involved with him and then connected with Noah, he wouldn’t be going after the Newmans. Even though that’s not true, because he’s been going after them his entire life.
“She’s just the kind of person who feels a great sense of responsibility and therefore guilt that this is happening.”
