Prince Harry reportedly plans to spend considerably more time in the United Kingdom following a positive visit with members of the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel between California and the U.K. every few months as he focuses on his family, British charities and the upcoming Invictus Games.
Harry returned to the U.K. in July with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The family reportedly met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House. The gathering marked the first time Meghan, Archie and Lilibet had visited the country since 2022.
According to The Times, Harry left the visit feeling “buoyed, very happy, and really energized.”
The family also visited Althorp, the ancestral home of Princess Diana’s family and the site of her burial. The estate is managed by Diana’s younger brother, Charles Spencer.
More Trips Are Reportedly Planned
Harry reportedly wants to visit the U.K. “more and more” over the next year.
“The template for his visits has been working well, so the frequency of trips will increase,” a source close to Harry told The Times.
The insider said Harry intends to return “every few months,” particularly as preparations continue for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Harry founded the adaptive sporting competition in 2014 to support wounded, injured and sick service members and veterans.
The Invictus Games Foundation has confirmed that the next Games will take place in Birmingham in July 2027.
His Next Visit Is Expected Soon
GettyHarry is expected to spend about a week in the U.K. in September supporting WellChild, a charity that assists seriously ill children and their families.
He has served as the organization’s patron for 18 years.
A decision has reportedly not been made about whether Meghan, Archie and Lilibet will join him for the September trip.
It is also unclear whether Harry will see Charles. The king is expected to remain at Balmoral in Scotland during that period.
Family and Charity Are Priorities

“He’s happy these trips can now have more focus on the patronages and be less obscured by the other nonsense,” the insider said. “And he always loves seeing his family.”
The reported plans come as Harry attempts to repair his relationship with his father. His relationship with brother Prince William, however, is believed to remain strained.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Mirror that William appears focused on his immediate family and royal responsibilities. However, she suggested that more frequent visits from Harry could make the brothers’ estrangement increasingly difficult to ignore.
Harry continues seeking a review of the security arrangements provided to him when he visits Britain.
He and Meghan lost their automatic taxpayer-funded police protection after stepping back as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.
