Brittany Cartwright Reveals Next Reality TV Chapter With New Amazon Show

Brittany Cartwright has spent more than a decade sharing the highs and lows of her personal life on reality TV. She first joined season 4 of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” as Jax Taylor’s girlfriend, and viewers have since watched her marry Taylor, welcome their son Cruz, and navigate a challenging divorce.

Now starring on “The Valley” for three seasons, Cartwright continues to give fans a real look into her life. But fans are about to see a different side of her in “Reality Retreat,” a new unscripted series for Amazon, and she won’t be the only Bravo star joining the cast.

Brittany Cartwright to Star in Amazon’s New Series ‘Reality Retreat’ Along With Other Bravo Stars

A new unscripted reality TV series is heading to Amazon and will star 11 of the most-talked-about reality stars, including “The Valley’s” Brittany Cartwright.

According to Deadline, a new series titled “Reality Retreat” will follow these 11 women as they head to a wellness retreat in a tropical location, where they embark on “intense wellness rituals, unfiltered truth-telling exercises, and emotionally charged confrontations” focused on “healing, accountability, and transformation.”

The goal at the end of their retreat is to help these women emerge as stronger, more self-aware versions of themselves, embracing change and perhaps even shedding the “villain” labels that have followed them.

For Cartwright, it’s seeing her get her sparkle back after a tumultuous separation from Jax Taylor.

Cartwright confirmed her role in the new series on Instagram, sharing a collage that featured Deadline’s latest news. “Life lately ✨ *swipe to see some exciting news on the last slide* 🤩,” her caption read.

In addition to Cartwright, other Bravo stars have been confirmed, including “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak and “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Margaret Josephs, who recently confirmed her exit from the show after seven seasons.

Joining the Bravo women include “Selling Sunset’s” Christine Quinn, “Braxton Family Values'” Tamar Braxton, “The Bachelorette’s” Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran, “Chrisley Knows Best” stars Julie and Savannah Chrisley, and “The Baldwins” star Hilaria Baldwin.

Deadline also reported that Rick Edwards will star as the concierge, and Ashley Edelman will work with the women as wellness director. The new show will premiere next year.

During Bravo’s NBCUniversal upfront presentation in New York City on May 11, where the network unveiled major updates and renewals for many fan-favorite series, viewers were left wondering why “The Valley” was noticeably absent from the lineup of renewed programming.

An Instagram post by “Up And Adam!” podcast host Adam Newell highlighted Bravo’s full list of returning shows, but Newell, along with much of the Bravo fandom, questioned why shows like “The Valley,” “Vanderpump Rules,” and “Ladies of London” were noticeably missing from the announcement.

Cartwright saw Newell’s post and, in the comment section, clarified that “The Valley” was returning, elaborating that the latest lineup only included shows likely scheduled for fall premiere dates.

“The valley is NOT cancelled these are just upfronts announcements for new series/ fall scheduled series. The valley is airing now that’s why it’s not on there along with others like RHBH. 😘 my phone has been going crazy so let’s clear that up lol,” she wrote.

And fans of “Vanderpump Rules” can also breathe a sigh of relief. According to TMZ, “Vanderpump Rules” will return with a new season despite Lisa Vanderpump expanding the series with a Las Vegas spinoff.
