Charlie Sheen has been making a comeback in 2025, but is he ready to settle down? The “Two and a Half Men” alum opened up about the possibility of rekindling his relationship with ex-wife Denise Richards.
Denise Richards Revealed Her Current Feelings for Charlie Sheen
Richards, 54, sat down to discuss her relationship with ex-husband Sheen during his two-part Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen.”
During her interview, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum admitted through tears, “I still love him.”
The former couple on the set of their 2001 film, “Good Advice.”
“She was the hottest woman alive at the time,” Sheen said of his future wife.
According to Richards, the “Platoon” actor was “nervous” to ask her out on a date.
“That’s the thing that people would be surprised by – Charlie can be very shy,” she explained. Their relationship progressed quickly after spending their first date at his apartment, watching Barry Bonds attempt to tie the single-season home run record in 2001.
They went on to tie the knot in 2002 and welcomed two daughters, Sami and Lola before their divorce in 2006.
“The truth is, I feel like my life with Charlie is three stages. It’s the time I met him and married him, then my divorce,” Richards added in the September doc. “Then the aftermath of it.”

When confronted by Bill Maher during the October 27 episode of his “Club Random” podcast, Sheen did not deny that his ex-wife still had feelings for him.
“She obviously still loves you,” Maher said, to which Sheen responded simply, “Yeah.”
The actor later told Graham Bensinger during the Wednesday, October 29, episode of the “In Depth with Graham Bensinger” podcast that he does not see himself getting back together with Richards.
“I don’t think so. I don’t think so,” he told Bensinger when asked about rekindling. “And I don’t say that negatively. I just feel like, um, I think we came together in a way… I think the right person for her is still out there. And I think the right person for me is still out there, you know? And she’s terrific. And that’s nothing against her at all.”
While he has no intention of reconnecting romantically with Richards, Sheen does not shut down the idea of finding love again “at some point.”
“I think there’s a lot of cool stuff on the horizon, and it’d be fun to share some of that, or at least the experiences or whatever,” he told the host.
