Cardi B is returning to a brand she has known since childhood.
The Grammy-winning rapper stars in Old Navy’s fall denim campaign, turning a familiar part of her Bronx upbringing into a full-circle fashion moment.
Cardi told InStyle that she wore Old Navy while growing up and now shops at the retailer for her own children.
“It’s a forever brand,” Cardi said. “I used to wear it when I was a kid and now my kids wear it.”
The rapper said the partnership felt authentic because Old Navy has remained part of her life as she transitioned from a child in the Bronx to a mother and internationally known performer.
“I bring my kids clothes from Old Navy all the time,” she said. “It’s good quality clothes and good quality jeans.”
Finding the Right Fit for Her Daughter
Cardi said the brand’s variety is especially helpful when she shops for her children.
“My daughter has really long legs, so they have jeans that fit her really nicely,” she explained.
Cardi is a mother of four. She shares daughter Kulture, son Wave and daughter Blossom with estranged husband Offset. She welcomed her youngest child, a son, with NFL player Stefon Diggs in November 2025.
Cardi has also shared her love of fashion with Kulture, who has accompanied her mother to major industry events. However, the rapper’s comments about finding jeans that fit her daughter show that everyday practicality remains just as important as high-fashion moments.
Motherhood has become a major part of Cardi’s life and influences how she shops. She has said her children are always on her mind, making her longtime connection to Old Navy feel even more personal now that she buys the brand for them.
The rapper appreciates having multiple silhouettes to choose from for herself and her family, particularly as denim trends continue shifting between skinny, wide-leg, high-rise and baggy styles.
Cardi Dresses for Her Mood
Cardi does not limit herself to one style or follow a fixed fashion formula.
“I don’t feel like I have a blueprint of style,” she said. “Sometimes I want to dress cute and modest. Sometimes I want to be simple. Sometimes I want to be extra.”
Her preferred denim silhouette also changes depending on the occasion.
Cardi generally likes high-rise jeans but chooses skinny styles when she wants a sexier outfit. For a casual daytime look, she pairs a fitted shirt or cardigan with wide-leg jeans.
Fashion Without Strict Rules

“You can wear whatever you want,” she said when asked which denim trend she would like to see make a comeback.
The cinema-inspired campaign also features Quenlin Blackwell, Paloma Elsesser, Brooks Nader, Haley Baylee and Wisdom Kaye.
For Cardi, the most important rule remains simple: Wear the jeans that make you feel like yourself.
