As Sir David Beckham’s public feud with his eldest son continues, the superstar former soccer player has wished his second-oldest son a Happy Birthday.
Sir David, 51, was accused, along with his wife Victoria, 52, of controlling the life of Brooklyn Beckham, 27. The couple are now estranged from the social media culinary content creator, model, photographer, and entrepreneur.
However, they’re still close with their other children. Romeo, 24, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 16 appear to have no such accusations of controlling behavior to direct at their parents.
It was the former, 24-year-old fashion model and former youth soccer player Romeo, for whom David took to social media to send his birthday greetings to.
Romeo was born on September 1, 2002, and turns 24 today.

Sir David Beckham took to his Instagram account to share his birthday tribute to son Romeo Beckham with his 87.7 million followers.
The post includes a carousel of five photographs of Romeo through the years. Sir David is in two of the snaps — one of which looks to have been taken recently in which he’s kissing his son on the forehead, the other of which was when Romeo was a child. In the other three photographs, Romeo holds up his pet dog, poses in a football kit, and smiles in a candid picture taken at home.
Sir David’s caption on the post reads, “Happy Birthday mate , we love you so much and I’m so proud of you for all you are as a person , sweet , kind and just an amazing young man .. Love you so so much have the best day ever you deserve it 🩷🩷 @romeobeckham @victoriabeckham 🩷🩷.”
Victoria, who shared her own birthday post for Romeo, commented, “We love you so much Romeo ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Meanwhile, Romeo responded by writing, “❤️love you.”
Fans and followers of the Beckham family also took to the comments section of Sir David’s post en masse to send their own birthday messages to Romeo.
