Alicia Witt is taking in some beautiful scenery while getting a little help from her fans.
The Hallmark alum took to Instagram on Monday, August 10, 2026, to share photos from the Grand Canyon during what she called a “most wonderful summer road trip.” But she wasn’t just sharing vacation photos. Witt also had a question for her fans about her upcoming music tour.
She wants to know which merchandise designs they would actually want to buy.
Yep, Witt has a new album coming out later this month. And she is already looking ahead to the tour that will follow. “Between Heaven and Earth” is scheduled for release on August 28, with Witt set to hit the road in September.
And honestly, asking fans what they want to see on the merch is a pretty fun way to get them involved before the tour even begins.
Alicia Witt Asks Fans to Help Choose Her Tour Merch
Witt shared several photos from her Grand Canyon stop, along with a caption explaining that she needed some assistance from her fans. She posted:
“help me choose what merch to create for my upcoming tour and album release – august 28. drop your comments below and tell me what you’d want to buy – in person at a show, or thru my website and shipped.”
And the fans quickly jumped into the comments with their thoughts.
One person picked #5 as a favorite, explaining, “Great trip. I really like #5 because that one kind of goes with the vibe of something you would get with David Lynch but is also a great look as well. I think after that is #4.”
Another fan had a whole list of favorites, writing, “# 1,3,4,6, ( #7 in black), and most definitely Ernest 🐾 Of course nothing fits me – my fault- but your sizes fit majority.”
Witt’s dog Ernest (who fans love) apparently made the cut, too. Which seems like an important piece of information when it comes to the merch choices.
Of course, some fans had other ideas.
One person joked, “What about this? A pair of pants with the Longlegs logo on it? It would be stitched where the legs are. Maybe a picture of Alicia on one butt cheek and Nicholas Cage on the other.”
Let’s be real, that would certainly be a memorable piece of merchandise.
Other comments were simply supportive of Witt’s trip and the photos she shared saying things like “Love❤️” and “Love to see you enjoying life and smiling!🤗.”
Another fan wrote, “You make that scenery so much more beautiful!!❤️❤️❤️ #4 #6 All of them are great too!”
Someone even suggested her next role: “The Canyon Queen, new movie on Hallmark(:”
And one fan invited Witt to visit Gilbert, Arizona, calling the Grand Canyon fantastic.
Witt’s New Album is Coming August 28
The merch question comes as Witt prepares for a major new chapter in her music career.
“Between Heaven and Earth” arrives August 28 via Thirty Tigers. Witt’s official website says the new album was produced by Joe Henry and recorded live in New York City. It explores love, connection, and transcendence. The project is also inspired by the enduring influence of David Lynch.
Witt’s tour in support of the album kicks off September 10, 2026. Dates run through September and October (yep, there is one in November). So she’s fans plenty of opportunities to see her perform the new music live. Tickets can be purchased via bnds.us/7kdqrf.
It seems like there is a lot happening for Witt right now, and her fans clearly seem excited to be along for the ride.
Honestly, the fact that she is asking fans which designs they would actually buy makes this feel a little more personal than simply announcing a new merch collection.
Revisit Alicia Witt’s Hallmark Era
GettyOf course, Witt is no stranger to Hallmark fans.
Hallmark’s official biography for Witt notes that she has appeared in several Hallmark Christmas movies over the years, beginning with “A Very Merry Mix-Up” (2013). Witt played Alice Chapman, a woman who travels to meet her fiancé’s family for Christmas but winds up at the wrong house.
Witt’s career has also always included music. She is a singer-songwriter and pianist. And Hallmark has highlighted her music in projects including “I’m Not Ready for Christmas” (2015), where she performed the title song. Now she is getting ready to take the “Between Heaven and Earth” album on tour.
Witt then starred opposite fellow fan-favorite Andrew Walker in “Christmas Tree Lane” (2020), her eighth holiday film with the network where she played music store owner Meg, who works to save her street from demolition.
Yep, there is definitely a connection between Witt’s acting and music careers. So it makes sense that both continue to show up in her projects.
And Her Career Goes Well Beyond Hallmark
While Hallmark viewers may know Witt best from her Christmas movies, she has been working in television and film for decades.
She appeared in “Dune” (1984), “Mr. Holland’s Opus” (1995), “Cybill” (1995–1998), “Twin Peaks” (1990, 2017), “Urban Legend” (1998), “Cecil B. Demented” (2000), “Two Weeks Notice” (2002), “Supernatural” (2017), and “Orange Is the New Black” (2019).
Hallmark’s biography of Witt also notes her work on “The Sopranos” (2000), “Friday Night Lights” (2009–2010), “The Walking Dead” (2016), “Nashville” (2016–2017), “Justified” (2014), and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” (2007–2008).
Her more recent roles include “Fuzzy Head” (2023), “Switch Up” (2024), “Longlegs” (2024), and “Twisted” (2026).
Before she goes on tour, it seems like Witt is enjoying her road trip. And letting her fans have a say in what comes next. And judging by the comments, they definitely have opinions about which merch designs should make the final cut.
