It’s been two months since Hallmark fans said goodbye to the beloved original series “The Way Home.” The cast has been keeping fans updated on life after the hit show and what’s next for them, career-wise. Jordan Doww (Young Colton) has revealed that he’s living out a childhood dream, and his co-stars are thrilled for him.
‘The Way Home’s Jordan Doww Shares Exciting Career Update
Taking to Instagram, Doww didn’t hide his excitement about what he’s been working on lately. Doww posted a carousel of photos giving a look at his happiness as he lives out his rockstar dreams in a new audio drama. There are a few videos showcasing Doww’s music talent, too.
“Dream come true alert… I JOINED A BAND 🎸👻 Meet Ren Wakefield: the bisexual, anxious, anger-fueled, fiercely loyal frontman of @phantompulseband, a ghost-busting rock band at the center of a brand new audiodrama from @atypicalartists, backed by @tumblr,” he wrote.
Doww went on to explain everything that has gone into this project over the past month. The Hallmark star also revealed what the story is about and gushed over being part of it.
“This past month, we recorded 16 episodes in two weeks AND are now recording an entire album of original music… Yes, a REAL album… & yes, I’m singing it 😭 This story dives into queer & religious trauma, grief, mental health, friendship, and found family. Phantom Pulse has challenged me as an actor and musician in ways I can’t wait to share. This cast is next-level & you are all in for such a treat. Thank you @laurenshippen, @gejwatts, & @atypicalartists for making my childhood dream of fronting a rock band my actual job. The story begins 2027. The album drops on Halloween. See you on the other side 😜,” Doww expressed.
Fans of “The Way Home” already knew that Doww was an extremely talented musician. Doww not only played music on the show but was also a key part of the soundtrack released as the hit Hallmark series wrapped its four-season run.
